I stopped in for the all you can eat lunch buffet. A great selection and everything was delicious, especially chicken tandoori, vegetable pakoras (vegan), naan, vegetable sautee (zucchini, peppers, etc), basmati rice, gulab jamun. I'm used to gulab jamun warm with syrup but here served cold/room temperature without syrup. Just as delicious even so. I will definitely come again. That tomato soup was a standout. Compliments to the chef.
This small "out of the way" restaurant is in a small strip mall off of route 9 in Manalapan. It's probably one of the best kept secrets when it comes to food freshly prepared, and like " homemade". The restaurant offers a lunch buffet (great introduction to Indian cuisine if you are not familiar with it ) that includes both vegetarian and meat dishes, simply presented emphasizing the individual flavors and colors of the Indian cuisine.
