On to the falafel: which were some of the best we ever sampled. Not finished yet, next we had lamb kafta. Which were succulent and prepared to perfection. Our final course was the superb moussaka. The eggplant melted in our mouth with each bite and the ground beef and béchamel enhanced the flavor to a higher level Our only disappoint was we didn't have room left for dessert. Manila Cafe is a traditional Filipino grocery store & restaurant with turo-turo ("point-point" in Filipino) style counter service where you point at what you want.

The pancit and pork sisig were great. But the real reason we stopped by was the craving for some halo halo dessert after an unusually warm & sticky September day! Masarap! We also picked up some awesome ube flavored polveron cookies that aren't easy to find, even at other Filipino stores in the state.“

On the healthier side you can go unhealthy I recommend the pita chips with crazy feta (whipped feta, onions, and jalapeños) it has a tiny kick not hot at all. My son enjoyed his ice cream, but I was sadly disappointed with having ordered the hot fudge sunday only to receive vanilla soft serve with chocolate syrup and NOT actual HOT FUDGE, which I was expecting on a $6 hot fudge Sunday. 😞. If I wanted chocolate syrup over soft serve, I would have ordered that. I had an infant with me as well and that's WHY I didn't walk all the way back up from my car with two young kids to see if it could be fixed. I'm not sure I will be returning or able to recommend this place to anyone else. I was surprised because I had seen good reviews on this business but for my first time to have this happen, that wasn't impressive or good at all. 👎☹️“
