“What a cool space - I initially thought I got lost when I pulled up because it does not look like what you expect before walking in! A real hidden gem. I've loved each flavor I've had from here so far. My initial experience was trying one of their bottles for sale at a stand in the Collingwood outdoor market - liked it so much and was excited to get more flavors at the home base right in my own town.

“You might think it's being stingy, but all good things does'nt need to be shared. Over 50yrs has been apart of my family....Hoagies...Deli meats to ordering fresh holiday turkey's. A place to pick up all the extras meatballs gravy...soup and so much more.The feeling when you touch the handled and open the door OMG.....?even If your shopping for other things the smell will have you buying much more. I can honestly remember only 1 time being disappointed. Bob.. Johnny and the crew have always been Amazing. Just the thought has me heading to the door.“

The only thing is, they brought out the food as it was being done. meaning some people on the table was waiting while others were eating. They should bring the food out all together and not 1 by 1.“

“My girlfriend and I were both feeling like absolute sickness, and after a long, brutal day at work, a hot bowl of matzoh ball soup was sounding suspiciously like the only thing that could save us. Famous 4th Street came through, and then some. The GM, Kevin, went out of his way to deliver a bag of goods large enough to feed a small army. Matzoh balls the size of a doggo’s skull. Kugel slices the size of a phone book. The kind of Jewish deli generosity that makes you want to write a google review from your deathbed. We really appreciate the care Kevin put into making sure we were fed and happy. Thank you!!“

“We dined here while visiting Philly for the weekend. We managed to walk in, but the restaurant is small and intimate so a reservation is probably best. It is also BYOB, so remember to bring a bottle of wine if you want something to drink.

The menu is clearly marked with gluten-free options, making ordering easy. Our server asked about allergies upfront and was confident handling the request when we noted my partner has Celiac (we mentioned it as a gluten allergy to the staff). We ordered the seared duck leg confit and the steak au poivre, and both were excellent. My partner had no symptoms the following day. We did not ask specific questions about shared kitchen space, but the clear labeling and great atmosphere made for an excellent dinner.“

Food came out hot and everything was fresh. I had the shrimp pho with beef broth, veggie pho with veggie broth and tofu summer rolls. Everything was delicious. “Ordered the Long Hots Cheesesteak......It was very good ....A nice and spicy sandwich with caramelized onions and Cheese .....Meat was juicy, The breaded roll tasted fresh..... Crispy outside and soft inside...and the sandwich overall was full of flavor...Will definitely come back and order some of the other sandwiches on my next trip to Philly!!!

When I arrived at the shop, they didn't have any ready for me to take home. “my favorite coffee shop in philly. used to be my go to neighborhood coffee shop because i just live right around the corner. i now live in a different neighborhood but i still come here because the coffee is so good & i guess the cherry on top is the baristas are consistently very nice & friendly as well. every time i come here, its always a nice litte treat. the vibe is always right. theres some seating inside, but theres seating outside too which is nice. & the neighborhood is nice & quiet. could just sit, sip my coffee, disassociate or people watch haha“
