“Went here for the first time today and they were locking the door but we're kind enough to let us in. We tried jersey shore flavor and it tasted homemade. The ice cream was soft and creamy, not at all icy. The Carmel tasted home made and not out of a jar. They are open even though it looks closed when you drive buy. Clean and neat. Much better Ice cream than the one by Trenton market“

“Thank you to CJ! He helped this Texas mom make sure her college freshman daughter received her cookies Door dash left the cookies at a random location. CJ then rebaked, drove and hand delivered to make sure my daughter had her cookies.
The next day a student found my daughter and said she found the door dashed cookies and felt bad my daughter didn’t get them so she ordered some cookies and hand delivered them to my daughter. Thank you CJ and the girl who showed kindness ♥️“

“Whomever made my salad burger on 4/23 around 530, it was SO GOOD. Usually my order is treated like a joke and I get scant veg and it’s so thin the buns touch. But someone took care of a vegetarian today and piled it high with alllll the veg and thank you so much!“

“This cuuute spot stole my heart. We tasted ice creams, 2 got hot chocolate with home made marshmallows, drinking to the last drop of perfection. I choose the chocolate cupcake vanilla frosted & cherished every minute of the tasty treat. Each bite was packed with perfection, moist chocolate cake with real cocoa, and a sweet memorable buttercream that I will have to buy a pint of on my next visit. (Order online ahead of time). Super fresh and delicious. Oh& the staff we're pleasant, patient, joyful.“

“As of October 2024, Melba had 3 (actually unique) vegan hard ice cream flavors, and at least 1 sorbet! The flavors change weekly. I had a "single" (yes—it's huge for a single) of vegan black sesame and vegan sweet potato cheesecake. Both were scrumptious. It cost about $5, which I felt like it was a very fair price considering the size! The Bent Spoon (which is also delicious) in Princeton charges about $6.50 for the same size. Also, Melba doesn't upcharge for vegan flavors (thank gawd).“

“Honestly one of yummiest ice creams I have had in a long time ! I had the Belgian chocolate and being a discerning choc lover I was surprised at how much this exceeded my expectations. I liked the texture of the ice cream and it was just enough chocolate for my sweet tooth . Best part was the very friendly service . Sachin was very kind and warm. Always nice to get service with a warm smile . Keep it up ! I will definitely be back on my next visit to New Jersey“
