“After reading the reviews, I was worried about staying here, but there was really no other alternative. Even though the price for this place is expensive, we booked it. I'm glad we did. I gave it 4 out of 5, because it's overpriced for what it gives. It's not like it's a beachfront or even near the beach hotel; it's in an ugly corporate park off a noisy highway near the 33/34 circle. At the time we went, the lobby and half the hotel were under remediation and being renovated. They did offer free coffee in the mornings, but any breakfast had to be gotten somewhere else. My allergies were not reacting to anything in the lobby area, nor did I detect anything. However, someone sensitive to dust or other construction byproducts might have a different experience. We had room 306, which I found to be quite good, even though it's a connecting room. The courtyard view is all right but nothing special. It was slightly perfumed-smelling, but did not set off my allergies. I was pleased that the mattresses had 6-sided encasements. They were also pillowtop and comfortable. My requests for a feather-free room had been done, as was my request for an extra sheet. The room passed my Swiffer test and was mostly clean, with the exception of a previous customer's McDonald's trash under one of the beds. The bathroom was clean and functional and the shower had decent water pressure. There was enough hot water for me to take a bath, although the tub is small. The AC in the room worked well and the blackout curtains closed completely. The fridge kept our drinks cold. I did not use the microwave, but I did use the little one-cup coffee maker to make hot water. The room and the hotel were fairly quiet the weekend we went. The staff were cordial and helpful. I think once the renovations are complete and their Bistro is back, this will be a very nice, if overpriced, hotel. I didn't bother with photos, since the ones on TripAdvisor are accurate, with the exception of the indoor pool. If this hotel has a pool, I never found it.“
