Nicholas Creamery serves some of the best ice cream on the bay shore, made with fresh ingredients and offered with friendly service. The ice cream is rich and flavorful, with flavors like coffee crunch, brown sugar cookie dough, peanut butter palooza, and vegan options like vegan banana-oreo. Customers enjoy the friendly staff, which makes every visit enjoyable, and the large cup with three scoops is a good deal at $5.95. The shop is cash only, but an ATM is available inside. The atmosphere is lively, and although it can get crowded and there may be a wait, many think it’s worth it. The shop also offers kid-friendly options like cups and cones. Wheelchair accessibility is available with parking close to the entrance. Recent reviews mention the ice cream’s freshness, seasonal flavors, and community events like the “battle of the schools,” showing a strong connection to the local area. Service at Tinton Falls is quick and friendly, though sometimes slow when only one person is working. While some flavors can sound better than they taste, overall, Nicholas Creamery remains a popular spot for creamy, sweet ice cream that leaves customers wanting more.
