I came to Fair Lawn Diner with my wife, and our waiter tried to automatically add an 18% gratuity even though there were only two of us. I know restaurant policy, and this is not fair. Fair Lawn Diner customers, beware!!! check your bills carefully before tipping, because you might end up paying double. Very sneaky behavior from the waitress, and extremely disappointing.

This is my first time coming to Fair Lawn Diner, and I was really impressed! The place has a warm welcoming, atmosphere. I had the Meat Lovers Bowl it was delicious, very resonably priced. The blonde manager working today has such an open and friendly personality. I saw a small situation at a nearby table, but she handled it calmly and professionally. The owner is really lucky to have someone like her on the team. I’ll definitely be coming back 10/10!

Don't even bother! I ordered a chicken salad sandwich... What they brought me was deli turkey chopped chopped up with gobsof mayonnaise. When I asked what this was, they said chicken salad. I asked for the manager and explain to him this is definitely chopped up deli turkey breast. He basically called me a liar so I got up and left. They chased me out into the parking lot trying to get me to pay for something I didn't even eat. Stay away, stay far far away.
We had breakfast dinners and hamburger deluxes. Milk shakes were delicious. We had a nice evening. Service was terrific.

I love fair lawn diner me and my family go all the time but when I went this past Saturday i was dissatisfied with the service. I kept asking the waitress questions that she could not seem to answer. Seemed like she did not know the menu well. In the end the manager helped us out and answered our questions. I love this place but I think the waitress needs more training
