Really delicious homemade food.
I love this place. The food is excellent.
Asya is the best! Most customers are Russian but she is patient with me and explains everything.
I come up from Florida to visit family and this is my first stop (yes, even before family). I love all the food and try everything. Everyone else loves it too.
Reasonable prices and fresh!
Always fresh delicious food! Their shish kebabs, crepes, syrniki are the best! Love it!

Taste Of Home Russian Food NJ is an exceptional market offering authentic Russian cuisine of outstanding quality. The food is consistently fresh, rich in flavor, and truly reminiscent of homemade cooking. The ingredients taste fresh, the portions are generous, and the overall value is excellent. The customer service is excellent, with staff who kindly assist and graciously answer questions. The atmosphere is warm and authentic, with a nostalgic feel. The selection is really great, including all kinds of foods and cuisines. It is a little grocery store with take out only. They have packaged items as well as many store made items. Depending on the time of day, cooked food can be coming out as you order or they can run out. Popular items include Borscht Soup, Turkish Salad, Eggplant Caviar, and Duck which is delicious and kind of like bbq style. The sweet cheese bread is good. The only issue is the lady behind the counter doesn't know much English, so waiting for help or googling labeled items is needed. The authenticity is a really cool experience.
