Great breakfast & lunch spot near the office. The food is always fresh, service always friendly, good value for the money here. This is an old school neighborhood deli, it is NOT a trendy flashy overpriced / overhyped scam joint.
This place is awesome but I live locally and can tell there is less foot traffic these days. Demographics are changing, that's fortunate or unfortunate depending on your political views. Wilkes may have to adapt or they won't be around in 5 years.
I visit Kris and Kathy daily for lunch, they make absolutely the best chicken noodle soup I've ever had. All the food is delicious. I love their fresh home made roast beef sandwiches, their chicken salad, macaroni salads are so good too. Cant go wrong with their chicken cutlet sandwiches either. I'm posting this today because they are closed for the Christmas/New Years break, which is overly-well deserved, but I am in withdrawal right now, lol. That is how amazing...
