It’s an unpleasant surprise to be sold a moldy pastry for the 4th of July. It’s unacceptable—and frankly dishonest—to serve spoiled food, especially in the summer heat!!!
Since mold takes days to develop, this Tiramisu was clearly past its safe date. Selling it in purpose is a health risk and shows serious negligence.
I won’t be returning, and I strongly advise others to do the same. I hope health authorities investigate your practices.

The establishment has the largest variety of Italian pastries 🍰 😋. They are very good. Highly recommend 👌.

We ordered a cake for my mom's birthday and the experience from start to finish was exceptional! Everyone at the party said it was the best cannoli cake they ever had. Well worth the trip from Jersey City for a special occasion cake!

Amazing breads and the best pastries. The staff is friendly and welcoming even when there is a huge line. Best bread around made with only 4 ingredients. A most stop for anyone needing bread of Sunday dinner or pastries.

Going to calandras is always a treat! They have the best fresh baked goodies and great seasonal treats. I love their paczki selection every year its become our tradition to go! They always hit it out of the park!

I’ve been coming here since I was 2 and it’s still my favorite place to go, whether it’s for food or bakery goods it’s perfect always. Never had a single complaint

My wife and I enjoy the food at Calandra's bakery, but the staff either need to do a better job at taking customers in order of arrival, or they need to get a queue/number system. We were cut 3 times last night and when my wife brought it to the attention of the staff, they just looked at us and said nothing. We walked out and took our business elsewhere. We won't be going back until they fix this and treat customers fairly.

Spent way too much money for pastries that were not fresh at all. Crumb cake hard as a rock. The absolute worst tricolor cookies I’ve ever had. Not fresh, hard and dry! I’ve never liked this bakery, Pinhos is the best! Never again I’ve tired several times and nothing has changed!

I stopped by this bakery 15 minutes before closing to get a birthday cake for my friend. Despite being so last minute, the staff patiently helped me choose a cake and even decorated it. They have a wide selection of cakes to choose from and the one I ended up picking tasted great. I will definitely be visiting here again!

Can't figure out how they decide who gets waited on. 3 people helping one customer. Nobody greeting anyone. Service seems random.

I just left after not being acknowledged, and passed over. Got frustrated trying to figure out how they decide to serve customers and why the entire counter staff is helping one guest with a small order.

I went in the evening. Probably not their best shift working.

Won't be back.
