One of the best bakeries around. Was very disappointed on Easter when someone brought a Wheat Pie to my house and the Wheat was completely uncooked. it was by like bitting on uncooked popcorn kernels. very disappointed

Upon arrival at Calandra’s, the recently remodeled bakery was busy, which is a good thing, and moved fast on Easter Sunday. Parking was not a problem. My partner and I decided on an 8” raspberry square cake. The cake was not only visually stunning, but it was also incredibly delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the moist layers melted in our mouths. We can recommend this place.

A big bakery in the neighborhood. So many deserts to pick from. Honestly it’s a bit confusing LOL. Cakes, cookies, pastries.. they have it all. Service is very good. The pastry I purchased looked fresh in the tray but it was a tad dry so couldn’t enjoy much. Perhaps I will try a different one next time.

We used Calandra's in Fairfield for our wedding cake when getting married at The Madison Hotel in December, 2023. After choosing our cake and flavor, we knew we wanted to make our cake unique and festive. So we asked the manager, Ilah, if she could accommodate our request. We text her a picture of our vision and she happily worked with her baker to make it happen. They created one of a kind holiday/winter themed chocolates that were the perfect size and made with care and precision! The Gingerbread Man and Woman cake topper were our favorite! All of our guests lined up for pictures and we are still receiving compliments! We got the cookies and cream flavored cake and it was delicious! Thank you so much Calandra's for bringing part of our dream wedding to life!
