Just cancelled Valentines Dinner when they rudely told me it was a pre fix menu. I looked at it. Very limited and prices were outrageous. Been to the locations before. Very overrated. They are full of themselves. There are PLENTY of other Italian places around that don't gauge customers for a fake holiday.

The staff was all very nice and attentive. The food was so delicious. The drinks were really good too. I got the roasted duck special of the day. The duck was still crispy even with the sauce on it. The tiramisu was also delicious, but I expected that from calandras. It's a fancier restaurant than I expected it to be, but the food was really really good.

Always a great experience at Calandra’s Mediterranean in Fairfield. The food is excellent, the atmosphere is welcoming, and they carry Hoboken Brewing, which is always a plus. Great spot for a solid meal and a good beer.

I'm usually not a critic but needed to tell my experience.. Last night I met my girlfriends there for a new years dinner. Haven't been there in years and the place was beautiful. Ordered our food , did apps for happy hour and it was ok, nothing to brag about. While eating the stuffed pepper we come across a big piece of hair. That was the end of our eating. I DO understand this happens at all places but it just made me sick. Told waitress and she took off bill but not once did a manager come to our table. The service was so so and the bus guys kept circling our table to see if we were done so they can clean table up. The place was empty so no excuse. Just wanted to let this out and will not be returning to calandras in the future

The worst experience ever , big party of 22 people . Christmas ever. It was manged horrific and the food was sub par for that place . There answer was it busy !! They have us 20 percent off. That's not worth family getting together... Horrible

It was excellent. The decorations were gorgeous. The food was excellent. This was the third time we've gone in Christmas Day and we'll definitely return next year.
We went there for Thanksgiving dinner expecting the usual buffets, turkey a little dry things like that however, this was probably the best turkey I’ve ever had. It was moist plenty of things plenty of fish on the buffet table. They didn’t rush you in and out and the service was absolutely perfect.

I was extremely pleased with Calandra's Mediterranean Grill. The entire place was nicely decorated for the holidays. Our server was very attentive, and the special luncheon menu was more than I had anticipated. Everything was very nice and would definitely return again.

Lovely way to spend Thanksgiving! Service was excellent. Atmosphere was beautiful and warm. Food was plentiful, well-prepared with lots of variety. My one suggestion is to somehow manage the flow of people at the beginning of the seating.
