We were a little unsure of how things would go since the restaurant was in a Best Western Plus hotel. We were taken to a nice tavern area that was quiet and pretty. The homemade bread and oil was delicious. My husband had a special fish which was very good and I had the chicken parm with red wine. It was delicious and the leftovers (it was too much for one meal) were even better the next night. My only complaint is that we asked to have our wine with dinner and our dinners came, but the wine didn't and we sat waiting quite a while for them to get that out. It wasn't busy so it should have been ready to come out right away. Otherwise everything was great!

Was visiting my parents from Florida with my son. Excellent food and treated us like family!

Unfortunately, they were out of most brands of tequila, wine choices, and it appears they weren't keeping up with there liquor, inventory, especially the high-end brands of tequila and wine.

Sunday Gravy - the food is excellent! Worth the price. The Penne is perfectly cooked and there is plenty. The meat (sausage, braciole and a very large meatball) was delicious. I don't generally like meatballs out, but this one was tender. It is served with a hot cheese bread round loaf which is crunchy and pairs perfectly with this meal.
So the downside? As a guest at the hotel, I tried to order room service 3 times. Twice there was no answer and after many rings it went back to a dial tone, and once I was asked to hold on and after 15 minutes, I hung up. At this point, I went to the restaurant to order.
When it arrived and we finished eating, we realized we did not get the cannoli nor the coffee. BUT we were so full and satisfied, we didn't make a big deal of it.
Overall, the dinner was delicious, but go to the restaurant to enjoy it properly.

Beautiful Italian restaurant located in Fairfield. Let’s start by saying Calandra’s has the best table bread you’ll have in your life. The fried calamari is fresh, with a flavorful sauce on the side. The pollo carbonara has a creamy consistency and a nice fried breading crunch, absolutely superb.

All locations, this one in particular. Of all of them, not the BEST of all their environments, but still incredible. Clean, neat, and respectable staff and perfectly located. Great for special events. Food is what you would expect and very special. I would recommend it easily. MMC - Premium CPDS

It was a mediocre bowl of watery fettuccine, but at least the bread was good. Service was good overall but the food took quite a bit of time to come out. Great overall atmosphere and decor.

Delicious food. Pricy, not a place to eat everyday because of the price. But it's a great place for special occasions.

This is one of the best Italian restaurants that I have been to. The pasta is amazing. The drinks are in point and the atmosphere is very Tuscany. Came here with a group of executives from work and they rave about this place. We go every time now since it’s 5 minutes from work and it’s become the go to place for us. Thank you for the great service.
