We were a little unsure of how things would go since the restaurant was in a Best Western Plus hotel. We were taken to a nice tavern area that was quiet and pretty. The homemade bread and oil was delicious. My husband had a special fish which was very good and I had the chicken parm with red wine. It was delicious and the leftovers (it was too much for one meal) were even better the next night. My only complaint is that we asked to have our wine with dinner and our dinners came,...
Unfortunately, they were out of most brands of tequila, wine choices, and it appears they weren't keeping up with there liquor, inventory, especially the high-end brands of tequila and wine.
Sunday Gravy - the food is excellent! Worth the price. The Penne is perfectly cooked and there is plenty. The meat (sausage, braciole and a very large meatball) was delicious. I don't generally like meatballs out, but this one was tender. It is served with a hot cheese bread round loaf which is crunchy and pairs perfectly with this meal.
So the downside? As a guest at the hotel, I tried to order room service 3 times. Twice there was no answer and after many rings...
