Franklin Steakhouse and Tavern

The food was always great. Service was usually good but this time it was way off sat there for 15 minutes. No service had to ask a server. Excuse me are you our server but you said no but if something I can get you gotta get a beer OK wait 10 more minutes no beer, my son my wife and I decide we’re out of here and we left. I don’t know what’s going on with management in that establishment but I don’t think we’ll be back.

It’s difficult for me to judge because I am out of my environment. Compared with my normal, this is a place to get a decent meal, but it is a little substandard.

FILTHY- DIRTY ! ! ! 1000 cigarette butt's outside front door, No Handicap spots, sticky floor inside,

Unfortunately, we were revisiting this establishment on a father-son football pilgrimage.. we did not have reservations and were told the wait was over 2 Hours as parties were scheduled. The staff were very friendly but could not resolve the situation. But, I'm not gonna lie, the place smelled fantastic... I will come back WITH a reservation, they are that good. Cheers!

Grew up going to the Nutley location and now they're in Fairfield. I swear on their Ribs but they have a fantastic beer list with great local options and awesome happy hour specials for drinks and apps ( highly recommend prime rib Sliders). Met family for dinner the other night and got the "Baby Spinach" Salad with steak added and the steak was cooked perfectly and every ingredient was fresh. Huge menu that could accommodate pretty much anyone. Great stop in the area.

Walked in and it smelled like old beer. The greeters looked as if they needed some type of energy boost. Plus the place looked very dark - not well lit. Did not stay.

Come here often usually good but not tonight wife ordered fish tacos but no fish here only unwashed cabbage management not concerned its their job to try to sneak one past you ruined the night .the only thing good was the beer and the steely dan on the sound system tonight we got the steely shaft .

Went for a late lunch. Ordered my ribeye medium and came to perfection. There's wasn't much ambient going on. If you just want a good quick steak during lunch, then this is a good choice.
