Really great food, service, and drinks. The cucumber mint mojito was not subtle on the cucumber and for my tastes I thought it was Bold & Delicious. The Korean Hanger Steak was exactly what you might imagine. A tender hanger steak (I ordered mine medium rare, it arrived medium rare as ordered and was delicious), topped with a sweet and spicy Korean sauce. It came with 2 sides. I opted for the mashed potatoes (which came to the table already perfect, no need for salt, pepper, or butter), and curry cauliflower, (Cauliflower is not my first choice when it comes to veggies but these were amazing, the Thai style yellow curry had a great hint of coconut and paired perfectly). The core bread that arrived before the meal was warm, slightly moist and extra delicious when buttered. 🤤

Ordered the French Dip. Meager portion. Had a strange flavor. The worst was the spicy coleslaw slaw which basically was a bowl of mayonnaise with some cabbage in it. The barmaid provided excellent service but the food is absolutely not worth the price and I wouldn't go back.

Our family had an excellent experience at Tavern 292! We were looking for a comfortable, reasonably priced spot for burgers, fries, and some quality time—and this place delivered. It was bustling and lively, which added to the fun atmosphere. The staff was super friendly. The dishes took some time to arrive but it was peak dinner service so understandable. The burgers and pasta were flavorful and generously portioned. We skipped appetizers and dessert because we were already full, but those items looked fantastic too. Overall, a top-notch evening—I’ll definitely be back for a lunch or dinner next time!

I gave this place a great review my last visit and recommended it on Facebook. Tonight not so much. Sat at the end of the Bar by the entrance doors 15 mins an no hello can I get you something to drink. Too busy filling table.top orders. Need designated table top filler on weekends or more bartenders. NOW THE PLACE IS NEW AND FOOD AND SERVICE WAS GREAT!!! But need to pick it up on the weekends. I will be back!

We had a party of 7 last night and yes, the food was excellent and the variety of choices was great but what made the night the best was our server Andrea. He was patient with us and did not rush us. He poured some of the drinks in a flamboyant manner that made the night special. We Guinness and he came back and apologized that they were out but were getting a new keg from there sister restaurant not far away. Although we gave him our second choice, he came back and told us it arrived and he got us our Guinness. He took a picture for us of our party and did so with a smile on his face. When we go back, and we will, I hope we get him again.

I had the French dip and found it stringy and the au jus oversalted, but my family enjoyed their burgers and chicken fingers with no complaints. The waiter was very friendly though and the wait was reasonable.
