I come to this location a few times a week. They recently remodeled it and maybe hired new staff as I had never seen this man but I also dont visit around this hour, 4p on monday to be exact. For starters, he came from the back with a mouth full of something and asked me my order, as he asked crumbs flew out/onto his hand, so he turned around and washed them. I then placed my order, as i saw him pull the milk out I remembered I didnt specify oat milk and asked for it in that moment, the death stare I received prompted me to ask “is that a problem?” He said “uh no but I have to remake it” in that moment I said “you know what, nevermind” and I walked out. I love DD but the customer service that comes with some of these locations is so frustrating that it makes you want to take your money elsewhere smh.

I ordered a ham, egg and cheese croissant and came out with the tiniest croissant ever. Since when did the menu change that it looks like this? Mind you it cost $5 and for what? It doesn’t even have egg in it when I specifically asked for egg and yet they gave me this atrocious looking thing. She proceeds to tell me that they don’t gave ham when the croissant she gave me had ham so why lie about it. They also messed up the bagel that I asked for and put me a croissant instead that was burnt. Disgusting and all they did was laugh nervously after confronting them about it being $5.
First time to this location. Looks like it should and service wasn’t bad at all. But my issue was with my coffee. Both coffees we ordered were clearly burnt and tasted super bitter. Not what I expect from this chain since I like their coffee but this was horrible. My friends live it the area and I told them how surprised I was at the quality of the coffee. Definitely not ok since this is their business. Must improve!
