I'm giving this place 3 starts because food was ok. I have tried better food around the area. Poor customer service. One girl to take care all the tables. I honestly think is better to do take out from this place. Is not worth to dinner in. You get more food as well.
I visit this superb restaurant once a month because I enjoy the good air that is unique to this restaurant. The crew is extremely helpful and skilfull. The service is deeply fast. Most important, the food they prepare is good. I frequent many times and I was always happy. The payment is reasobable. I suggest this place to my friends and family.
I'm one of these people who loves going to classic New York restaurants more than whatever the hot foodie place of the moment is. (I also avoid "Restaurant Week".) If that makes me a stuffy old codger, so be it. Anyway, I love the location of this place (very close to where I usually stay), the uniformed doormen, and the very wonderful staff. The restaurant is elegantly decorated - you feel like you've entered a vintage era. We went on a weeknight for a couples...
