DO NOT order from Tio Taco in Fairview. The food was rancid and spoiled. I ordered enchiladas de pollo en salsa verde with rice and beans, guacamole and tacos de cecina. The enchiladas, rice and beans tasted spoiled and old. I ate a couple of spoonful and it tasted weird. When I smelled the food, it was spoiled. Gross! Very disappointing given that this place is SO expensive. I called the restaurant to speak to the manager and was given the runaround saying that the manager was in a meeting.

I feel like there miscommunication in my order. For 4 drinks (sodas) chicken and fries, fajitas, gringas (carnitas and cheese quesadilla) and steak and cheese I don’t find how our order came out to be $80! On the menu my order was only $7. Felt like I couldn’t ask anybody about it because not to be rude there was a language barrier and nobody understood what I was saying.

Food was alright. The food was so-so. Service was horrible! Service was horrible! We were there for about four hours. They said the chefs were late. He gave the drinks and not food. Forgot to give the chips and salsa. I had to ask for it. The food arrived about two hours later, and we watched as the people who came in after us received their plates. We ordered three medium-rare steaks and they all came “well done.” At that point we didn't even want to complain because they already took a long time to provide the food. Oh and the beans were cold. My brother ordered margaritas and my sister ordered a pina colada. When they wanted to order another round, a worker looked to ask for ID. And he said that he will no longer be able to give the piña colada. You forgot your ID and it's okay if you didn't want to give it to it at the beginning but you were already serving it, because at the end you want to be asking for ID?! It's not our fault he didn't ask at the beginning. And because the manager arrived he wanted to act differently. Also, this same lady, I'm sorry, but it seems like she thinks she's the owner. It has never happened to me in the many times I have been. I had my daughter's car LOCKED between the two doors according to me so that it wouldn't get in the way of anyone. They could open the door easily. Only this lady came in with a cart with packages and I understand that maybe SHE couldn't get in and it bothered SHE that she is there but the car didn't bother anyone and everyone could get in without difficulty. I would have understood if he had gone in and out with the cart and things, but once it was. It wasn't for him to be complaining. I think. My daughter's car. Even sooooo, when she came in with the things on her part I think our waitress took a while just to help her with the things. When the truth is it shouldn't be like that just because the lady didn't have people at that time, she just had to do that. And the waitress had to only focus on us at that time. I don't know, maybe I can't explain myself well but the truth is that we had a bad time. Not to mention it was freezing. For that kind of money you’d expect the food to be good but it wasn’t, the meat tacos were full of fat and not that great. On top of the over priced and poor taste, the service staff wasn’t great either with the waitress being quite rude and unpleasant. Would not recommend one bit.
