“Cute place with convenient parking in the back — we had no trouble finding a spot even on a Friday night. The sushi rolls were large and packed with fish. We were pleasantly surprised with free strawberry mochi and two pieces of tempura at the end. Great experience overall!”

I tried their pizza and food and the ice cream and everything was really good. They offered me a real kind and personal experience. They made me feel very welcomed. The fish soup broth was not enough, it's kinda hard to scoop off the soup to your bowl, they offered if you want more broth, but then less flavorful after they add with just the base broth without seasoning.
Garlic shrimp was the highlight of the dinner.

“I love coming to Tandoori Chef for dinner. The restaurant has 4 booth-like tables and has excellent service as well as a nice expansive menu with both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. This authentic Indian restaurant has a very friendly staff that is accommodating when asked for recommendations or extra pitas or sauce. \n\nAlso a great take-out restaurant with food ready in 20 minutes or less. The shrimply the best tacos, which was originally on a tostada last summer, was just as amazing, but didn’t sit as heavy as a tostada. Love the move to a light tortilla. The Mexi-Avo toast was so filling and the flavors melted together so nicely. Don’t forget the decor inside is so cozy, boho/havana vibe and perfect for a date or girl’s brunch. 10/10”

“I had the honor privilege and luck of being the very first customer to be served at Kanpachi Sushi during their grand opening on 4/29/2022. The very first think I noticed was how friendly and inviting the staff is, they make you feel welcome the second that you step into their establishment. The second thing I noticed was the how the new renovation which makes you want to come in and have a seat at a table or sit at the sushi bar to watch the sushi master construct your order before your eyes. I am impressed with the addition of this new business to Amboy Ave. The food is fresh, top-quality ingredients prepared by a world class chief and sushi master. I had lunch there yesterday and today. Oh, and did I mention that Kanpachi is a BYOB establishment? Sushi steak and Hibachi lovers, do yourself a favor and get over there.
