“Rush Bowls is a must try! They have so many bowl and smoothies options. I had the Dragon bowl with kiwi, strawberry, nutella and honey, it was picture perfect and delicious. The owners are super sweet and welcoming. They’ll even make custom bowls or smoothies if you’re tracking calories or macros, and save your order so you can get it again later. They have games to play while you hang out and dog treats. Overall, great people, great vibes, and really great bowl!”

“My wife and I have been patrons and huge fans of Chez Catherine for nearly 30 years. Last Friday, we happily celebrated our 39th anniversary there with another very fine lunch. It's always a pleasure to be greeted like old friends by owner Stephane Bocket and seated at what we think is the best table in the tastefully decorated, elegant restaurant. We both chose the prix fixe menu. For starters, my wife had the always terrific moules and I a lovely mixed salad. We both chose beef bourguignons for our main course and asked Stephane to suggest wine from the by-the-glass list. His selections of a chablis for my wife and pinot noir for me worked perfectly with the outstanding bourguignons. We finished by sharing a delicious Baba au Rhum, prepared by Stephane at tableside. Dining at Chez Catherine is always a special event to us. Everything about it is first class. If you are unfamiliar with Chez Catherine, it has been one of New Jersey's Top 5 restaurants for nearly 40 years. We recommend it highly and urge lovers of fine dining to not wait but reserve a table NOW. We're sure you'll find it to be as special as we do.”

“I had an amazing experience dining here tonight. My boyfriend & I wanted to explore Vietnamese cuisine. I’m vegan & loved that they had multiple options for me. We ordered steamed vegetable dumplings to start. Fresh ingredients and the perfect starter to a great meal. The Thai milk tea was outstanding. Not too sweet yet creamy and addictive. The staff directed me towards the lemongrass pho with vegetables and tofu. It was out of this world! The lemongrass flavor was rich and comforting. My boyfriend ordered the Bánh mì. It was sweet and savory - the perfect balance. The baguette was fresh and the meat was very seasoned and well cooked. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Andy. You can tell he’s passionate about his restaurant and customers. I said I added too much chili oil to my broth (rookie mistake - it’s very spicy!) and he was kind enough to add more broth to my leftovers to lessen the heat. He was accommodating, friendly and kind. We can’t wait to explore the whole menu. Highly recommended!”

“I haven't been there yet, but I saw an advertisement online for ice cream sandwich baklava so I was going to drive there and thankfully I called them because the guy said they don't even have it and he sounded like he didn't know what I was talking about and they also don't have 'cold baklava', in case you're looking for it. He did pick up the phone fast though, and he was very nice. I'm glad I didn't waste the 20 minute drive for A false advertisement”

“Food was delicious with great proportions, not too much not overwhelming. I was skeptical looking at the price of the street corn but it turned into shock when I saw how the corn was presented. It felt like I was eating at a high end expensive restaurant while still serving a pretty big portion.”

My friends and family raved about the triple chocolate cake i picked up for my sisters birthday and my best friend and i enjoy a quiet breakfast and cafe on the weekends! The decor is so welcoming and bright. It’s a great place to sit, and relax! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious pastries and French imports. “This coffee has been one of my favorites since it opened back in 1990! I was advised once by someone that works for a larger company to check out what happens when you open up a bag of coffee from let’s say (the brand that shall not be named) versus opening up a bag of Ahrre’s. Mass produced coffee like that has an aroma that doesn’t carry more than maybe a foot and a half. Ours coffee, you can smell across the room— which is an unstable sign of small batch, roasting, and truly fresh flavor.”

“I was very impressed with the selection of food and drinks, particularly the salads and the quality of the fast food options, The mustard and the sauce on the wagyu burger were both delicious. I also truly enjoyed the outdoor dining area, which was perfect for the weather. Additionally, the service I received was excellent.The only challenge I encountered was the parking, which was quite difficult to find during the early dinner rush on a Saturday night. I will certainly recommend to others that they visit during less busy times if they want to avoid the parking crowds.”

They definitely loved the drinks and food, but what made them so giddy was how kind and friendly the woman at the counter, Margaret, was. She even gave them a few free items. “Boxwood Cafe is a gem! The owner has created a high quality coffee shop and the employees are very friendly. I like to stop by for a latte and a baked good (scone, cookie, or blueberry bar) and sit outside at one of the side tables. Pre-Covid, they hosted open mic night and quiz night every month. Now Steve hosts a monthly Zoom Quiz Night and it is so much fun! A great locally owned cafe.”

“I reached out to Bovelas last minute after I realized that through all the crazy planning of my 25th party, I completely forgot about my cake! I contacted them about a week and a half before my party, super nervous that I was too close and they wouldn’t be able to do it. They excitedly took my order and shared how much they loved the idea for my Brazilian carnival themed birthday. Not only did they make me feel super confident that they would execute my idea perfectly, but they guaranteed that they’d be able to get it done on time. I am super grateful to Bobby the baker and the team over at Bovelas for adding such a special and personalized aspect to my party that was literally the cherry on top of the cake ! lol.
