“Great place for food on a healthier side. There are soy and dairy allergy friendly options and the chef may modify certain dishes to address them. The staff is always friendly and polite. There are seating areas available to fit strollers so that you may bring your little ones. The place looks modern, sleek and is always clean.

“Stopped in on the 4th of July since we needed a meal and not many places were open! We got quick and friendly service and the location is set up beautifully! The bowl was amazing and fresh and hit the spot! Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something a little different, fresh and healthy.“

“I was delighted the other day when I popped into the playa bowl located in Summit NJ.
First of all the music was fantastic but the second I open the front door,I was greeted with a big beautiful smile accompanied with “how are you doing today, ma’am?”
Very sincere very authentic.
I had to ask the gal her name and I knew in an instant she must’ve been a manager.
Just the way she was having full control .
Her name is Iwlly.
What a lovely person.
She also had a young man working with her by the name of Dylan. I can’t say enough nice things about him as well.
I had a bit of a difficult order, but the both of them were very confident and assured me they had it down to a science.
Let me say my order was to perfection!!!!!!!!!
I love all of the Playa bowl shops, but this one takes the cake. It’s just so organized and so friendly and they’re never cheap or stingy with their toppings either.
I mean, let’s face it. Everything‘s gone up and it’s very expensive so it’s nice to treat yourself and when you pay extra for toppings, you don’t wanna be slighted and this summit shop does not slight you in the least.

“My favorite of the açaí-focused restaurants. The workers are always friendly and professional. Their menu is highly customizable and offers many options. Their smoothies are also fantastic. The app allows you to collect points towards a free meal, when other similar places do not even offer that.“

“PROS:- This place makes their bases (which they have numerous kinds of) right in front of you. It's not premade like Frutta Bowls or Playa Bowls. So you can customize it completely.- The portions are HUGE especially compared to Frutta Bowls. I much rather have more of the base (which is difficult to make at home) than the slices of fruit on top (which is easy to do at home).- Krystina and Shanel made our bowls and were so warm and patient -- explaining all of their options and even giving us free samples of their sugar free peanut butter which they grind right in front of you (this was the topping we chose -- highly recommend).- They even have a BOGO on Wednesdays if you use the app. You can bet we will be there again this week for it.CONS:- Acai bowls in general are not cheap. But I've made many acai bowls myself at home, and those 100% acai packets from Trader Joe's are a pain to open and work with. So, to me, the cost is well worth the hassle from making the base at home.We've found our new acai bowl spot in Livingston. Thank you for being here Rush Bowls =)“

“I had the pleasure of consuming a smoothie from this wonderful establishment. The smoothie was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. I was offered sugar along with other things to sweeten the smoothie. The atmosphere of this is extremely cozy. In addition the prices are extremely reasonable. This place is definitely worth a try.“

“I went to Playa Bowls for the first time this past weekend. The store was crowded but I was impressed with the efficiency of how the store was ran. I placed my order and by the time I finished paying, it was ready. It was a simple order but I was still impressed with how quickly I got it.“
“Just picked up a smoothie and the Las Brisas Wrap, both were excellent! Fresh moist roasted chicken, crunchy cucumbers, fresh greens, carrots and the most delicious dressing! The wrap was so big I could only eat half. I ordered on line and it was ready in about 10 mins. Friendly service was icing on the cake!“

“This place is awesome. Super delicious food from salads to sandwiches. All seems to be on the healthy light side and I wanted all of it. I had a special Pastrami grilled cheese. It had thick cut fresh pastrami with cheddar cheese and coleslaw topped on TEXAS TOAST!! it was super professional and came with a side of fresh cut sweet potato fries and the carrot soup !! Let me tell you about the carrot soup , it is a must try. It was so creamy and full of flavor. I never had carrot soup so I figured I give it a go and I’m happy I did. It’s upstairs in the mall in Bloomingdale’s and it actually had a nice little view for being in a mall. Looks like they have a juice bar too. Highly recommend.“

“I've always been a fan of Chopt since they built a location near my office in NYC. I love it so much that here in NJ, I drive 25 mins to eat in or take out from this New Providence location. Still awesome. Occasionally, i might get too much dressing so I recommend you get it on the side or set it to light but this doesn't happen often. Anyway, I recommend this place if you need a good salad joint that's not a mom and pop, local deli. Chopt, if you are reading this, we need more locations in NJ.“
