“This place is, with out a doubt, the best Acai/Chia pudding place I have ever been to. On top of that, the chia pudding recipe tis shop is using is something distinctly different from other chia pudding I've had. It's blue, and tastes far more awesome than normal chia pudding.I accidentally discovered this little shop while visiting a friend near Montclair. I live in NYC - caught a train to Montclair Bay St station, and wandered up the block from there looking for some treats to share with friends.Jackpot.I don't live near Montclair, and this location is not convenient to me. However, I now go out of my way to visit this shop whenever I'm passing through the nearby train line.Worth it.If you (please) bring boomchia to downtown Brooklyn, I would eat there everyday. As it stands I'll have to settle for once a week.“

“Be Well is one of my favorite spots in the area. Food is actually healthy and made fresh to order. The atmosphere is friendly and upbeat. They remember faces and names. And the outdoor seating, plants and flowers, and park across the street is perfect. Eating here makes me feel good. My faves are the green goddess salad, the black bean wrap, California wrap, and the Moroccan lentil and the cauliflower chickpea curry. Parking or pulling up for a takeout order are also both very easy since it's away from the congested business district of Rutherford.“

“Lyndergy nutrition is the best place for a great protein shake! I am here every morning and the owner Kevin is super sweet and helpful. The mint chocolate chip shake is my absolute favorite! They also have amazing teas, protein waffles and protein donuts. A must try in Lyndhurst!“

“I'd heard good things about Montclair nutrition and decided to try it out. The vibes are set as soon as you step in the door the space is super trendy and playing cool music and decorated beautifully. I got the birthday cake shake which was absolutely delicious and the donuts which were absolutely insaneee. The more amazing part is that all of this taste so good and is low sugar and low fat but packed with protein...what kind of sorcery is this? If you're looking for a sweet treat that won't make you feel guilty after, definitely go to Montclair nutrition!“

“Very healthy, very yummy, very expensive. $70+ for two bowls and two smoothies. I quite liked my girlfriend's rice bowl more than my salad, but that's on my obviously. Both were good, though, and the ingredients looked fresh and were flavorful. I'm not sure I'd eat there again only because of the high price, but I could see myself grabbing another smoothie there.“

While I enjoy both places, this one definitely won on portion, which was my main complaint about the other one (too small). A very nice surprise!Order at the counter or on their self-order screen. Counter order-taker was friendly and cheerful. Food came out within 5 minutes and I sat at a table in the window. Was the only one dining-in, although they were doing a decent pick-up business.I ordered the spicy bowl and it was excellent. It comes with a generous portion of spicy tuna, spicy kani (crab stick) and spicy shrimp over rice, cucumbers, jalapeño, seaweed and tobiko. It looks like the have a nice selection of appetizers, as well. I will try that and bring the family next time!“

“Excellent, excellent vitamin store. I have been going there since 1978. Saw NY Yankee legend Phil Rizzuto in the store once (he used to live in Hillside). This is not a corporate store. Privately owned. Difference between this health food store and just any is that the people behind the counter are extremely knowledgeable. Ridiculously knowledgeable. Know more than plenty of the doctors out there.“

“I’ve been to this cafe many times because they are one of the few cafes in JC with plenty of space for reading/working and healthy food options. I’ve tried their avocado and chicken sandwich, avocado toast, egg and cheese wrap and their brekki quinoa bowl. I prefer the avocado and chicken sandwich and the egg and cheese wrap but I liked that everything was light and healthy and made me feel good about my body after eating them.The owner is also very friendly and polite. This cafe is located in the lobby of a luxury apartment building. I’d definitely recommend this cafe.Vegetarian options: Avocado toast“

“NATURES HOUSE has been my go to health store for many years. Since Wheatgrass has been introduced I drink it faithfully at least once a week along with Nature’s Green juice.
