Definitely one of our go to places to eat in Westfield but then again can’t fault any restaurant. Food is always amazingly fresh, service is friendly and welcoming and the drinks free flowing….

Had the most delicious dinner for my birthday here. Had beef negimake and beef and shrimp teriyaki entrees and saki. It was wonderful!! Food and atmosphere are top notch.

Akai Lounge is a Japanese restaurant in the Wesgarcran or downtown Westfield area, offering a refreshing modern atmosphere with good interior design. The vibe is cozy and pleasant, though the place is super small and not as big, so it can get really crowded. Parking might be hard.
The food is always great and fresh. They serve the best sushi in the area, with very good appetizers and entrees. Sushi roll options are vast and delectable, including the recommended Fiesta roll, and sashimi is as fresh as can be. The Akai bbq is also recommended, and the dumplings are absolutely spectacular. Some note the food has an authentic flavor, while others find it somewhat americanized. The drinks are A+ and fun, with highlights like the lychee martini.
The staff are fantastic, quick, and have initiative, with kind and attentive service. Even when the restaurant gets full, they do not pressure you to leave. The experience is consistently pleasant and never disappoints, making it a place worth coming back to for dinner with friends and family.
