today my family and I decided to try Connie’s for Breakfast. We were 6 people in total. When we walked in we waited by the desk to be seated. multiple waitresses passed us, no eye contact, no good morning, no someone will be with you. We waited awhile until an older women came from the back. first person with a smile. She sat 3 kids in one booth and 3 of us in another. no table accommodated 6 people. This was fine. She gave us menus and then the waiting game started. Waitresses passing us by, once again no good morning, someone will be with you. nothing. We sat for a good 10minutes, finally someone came.
“what do you want to drink” no hello
we decided to give the whole order afraid we would not get her back to the table. We looked over and the kids had a different waitress taking their order. ok good, we all ordered.
Within 15min kids got all their food. We were still waiting. now another 15min and they are done eating and we’re still waiting. we’re watching food go to people who walked in 20min after us. yet we’re still waiting. finally I ask the waitress how much longer for the food. She doesn’t even look my way and walks by saying a few minutes. at this point it’s over 40min from when we ordered pancakes! The way we were treated was terrible. lack of eye contact, a smile, the attitudes on these people. they are in the wrong line of work. We got up and asked for the kids bill. the older lady who sat us apologized and said she’s not sure what happened and the waitress is new. Doesn’t matter if she’s new, none of the waitresses had a smile or were welcoming at all. my husband, my son and myself left without eating. this was our first time and definitely our last. It doesn’t hurt to be friendly, smile and welcoming. Connie’s definitely needs to train their staff better. As far as the food goes, We will never know if it was good 🤷♀️

It's a local favorite, they don't overcharge and the coffee is good and you get a nice big mug. My personal favorite is the pepper and onion omelette with cheese. It comes with a wonderful home fries and some rye toast.

I had never been to your place , it was my first time. I was do disappointed. I order pancakes and they look like the frozen ones. Look like a piece of cardboard. I ate one because I didn't want to complain in front of other customers. Didn't want them to hear me. It was not good, specially for $9:50 . Won't be going back. Sorry.
