Smokehouse Grille & BBQ - Wall Township

I don’t think the signs saying “world famous” or “southern bbq” is very accurate. definitely take the extra 10 minutes and go to local bbq in Neptune or take a longer drive to Jersey bbq in point pleasant. The food was very underwhelming in presentation and taste and honestly tasted pretty below average. Definitely not worth $60 for two people.

Absolutely loved the food. Staff was nice and helpful.

Brisket sandwich just lovely. And the hot dog with pulled pork so good. Love the style of French fries (pic doesn't do it justice). The hush puppies (not usually my thing) were good, not amazing but fun to have a different bite.

Atmosphere is average. Wood tables inside and outdoor seating next to a highway. But that's not what you go here for.

It's the great comfort food that left us very happy.

The brisket is very good. Pulled pork they put too much bbq sauce on it. Let the customer decide how much they want. 4 out of 5 stars 🌟

Small bbq joint, big flavors. 15 small tables and 2 refrigerated drink cases. The brisket was super juicy and nicely smoked. The sausage had nice snap, grill marks, and solid flavor. $13.21 got me 1/4 lb of brisket and a sausage link. The food took maybe 5-10 minutes to prepare. The spicy bbq sauce tasted like tobasco sauce was mixed into it.

Everything was okay, but not great. The ribs and wings weren’t very juicy, and the potato salad was just average. It’s decent if you’re hungry, but nothing particularly special.

The food was really good. I liked the texas brisket and the BBQ sauce a lot. I'd say tho this is more of a take out place than a sit down. The outside window had a pole smashed into it with glass still on the inside window ledge. The seats are just wood benches / seats with no backs on them. The tables felt sticky to sit and eat on, and the i guess wood look looks kinda like buttholes on the table as my gf pointed out. The workers also had on uniforms from the PeruUSA place next door, so idk with its owned by the same company or if they just also work there as well but thought that was weird. The inside is also small so if there was more than just us dinning it would have been loud. The place was a former Stewart's root beer, and you can still get that here, but I think not in fountain. It was advertised but didn't see anything. The food was the best part of the experience, so get it to go or order pick up. It was also $7.95 for a plain hot dog. Gourmet dogs were $10.75 just for a gimmick.

Food was ok. Girl at counter was not very pleasant. The bench seats at each table are very sticky. Tables not really that clean either.

Went by for lunch and the lights were off, sign on door was flipped to closed, but door was slightly open by a rock.

Eating here now for the first time. Fantastic!

Order 1/2 rack of ribs
The ribs was very dry could not eat them.
Was a waste of money.

This food was AMAZING!!! I had gotten the beef brisket and just wow. It tasted delicious. Also the collard greens. So so good! My family loved their items as well. The only two negatives was when I picked up I asked the girl for extra BBQ sauce and she said they were in the bag but they were not. Also my daughter ordered buffalo wings and we got bbq. So just double check before you leave but yeah I will still be ordering again!

Everything was delicious. Hubs and I had #1 special platter. Great value for the money.
