Sliced into it, looked like it was leftover with a light sauce smeared on it. Didn't even eat. Woman at counter was told about it with no retort.Brisket was a so so, fatty! I'm no stranger to brisket, dont mind good fat, but... this far from being best I ever had, like some other postsCorn bread was very good, good flavor and moist. Ribs were nothing to write home about. Tough.Collard greens were tasty, after a cup of liquid drained.Total let down... Would I go back??? Probably not

The lady at the front looked like every customer was an inconvenience. Got the biggest platter to try everything. No smoke smell or flavor to any of the food.Sauce was good. Chicken and pulled pork both were fresh from the microwave. I'd compare it to 2nd day leftovers from a basic backyard cookout.. locals may love it, but if you are traveling, don't waste your time plenty of better food options in the area!

Food here was sooo good! One of the best ribs I’ve ever had! My husband loves whatever food he ordered from here before we’ve been here a bunch of times and it was always so good and never disappoints. We’ll definitely come here when we visit NJ in the near future! I miss this place so much

Eh...the pulled pork was on the dry side but flavorful...get the sweet sauce with it...hush puppies were on the bland side...plusses were the French fries and the portion size. Service was fast and friendly and the decor was cute.
Came for lunch for the first time and the food was amazing. Shared a platter had a little bit of everything and it was all very good. The pulled pork and brisket were amazing and their house made sweet and spicy sauce were really good. Staff were friendly and restaurant was clean.

Was in the mood for good barbecue and ordered the sampler platter, the half of rack was like 6 ribs. The cornbread was incredibly terrible. The brisket was awfully average. We found hair in one of my side sauces and crappy mashed potatoes. The only good thing from this overpriced shit hole was the burger. So if you're looking for overpriced barbecue with pubic hairs this is the place.

Came in to sample a few things on a budget. They sell meat by the 1/4 lb, but were nice enough to give me an 1/8th lb of brisket and an 1/8th lb of pulled pork so I could try both for just $7.50. Asked for a small free sample of beans and got nearly a full side dish worth for free! Also came with half sour dill pickle that tasted home made. The brisket lacked flavor but was very tender. The pork had more flavor and nice bits of "bark" and burnt crunchy corners. Their classic BBQ sauce was very sweet and brown sugary with a slight kick. I prefer a more vinegary sauce but I was still drenching the pork in it. The beans were good and had a slight smokiness to them. Great value for the price and decent but not the best BBQ.
