Excellent....Excellent....we ordered the mozzarella and spring roll appetizers...they were delicious...the special beet salad was delicious. Our dinners were also very good. We will definitely go back to 55 main!

Whether it's a celebration or a dinner out on a Friday or Saturday, 55 Main always pleases. Always new and exciting dishes on the menu, in the noise level is always 15 25 on a 100 point scale.

Wonderful wonderful!! The owner, Jonas Gold does it all!! Food was great, service (by him) was outstanding! We had egg rolls and beef kabobs for appetizers-both flavorful with tasty dipping sauces. We all had burgers, each was perfectly prepared and delicious! Make a reservation and go!!! We will be returning for the dumplings!!

Jonas, the owner and cook, is simply amazing. You will not find a better restaurant and service anywhere around. His food, all prepped by him, is second to none. Feels like a nyc type of restaurant but in comfy down town Flemington. We like to sit outside and take in the city views. Suggestion: ask Jonas what he suggests to eat. He has never been wrong. We cannot wait to ho again!

Good food - VERY good food! However, I had some issues with some of the choices in seasoning of our dishes. We ordered the pumpkin bisque as an appetizer - it was very wholesome, tasting of fresh pumpkin and creme - but without many spices to go with it (salt, for example, along with possibly some nutmeg), it was very plain tasting. Our main dishes were soft tacos - Korean BBQ Beef for my wife and Lemon and Lime Shrimp for myself. Both tacos tasted absolutely delicious, but there was nothing Korean about my wife's tacos - it was basically just BBQ beef (but again, very tasty!); my tacos had no lemon flavor at all, but were instead flavored with a powerfully strong wasabi aioli - which tasted amazing, but overpowered the rest of the flavors of the tacos. So, overall, the taste of our dishes was very good, but not matching the titles of the dishes. We'll definitely be back to try some different dishes next time!
I had this place recommended to me as a great place for lunch and boy was it! I believe I'm at the owner and he was a very nice gentleman and I would absolutely return here again. Oh and the food was fantastic!

Went for a birthday lunch with my nephew. Food was very good. Service by chef/owner was very good. I had the turkey and brie sandwich my nephew had the penne vodka. well done. Nice surprise in this town on the main st.

Pork osso buco over squash risotto made for a perfect meal. Bring your own booze... rest they've got you covered.

Food quality and service was poor.I ordered a salad with avocado added - the avocado was over ripe just by the look making it very unappetizing. The chef should have said he was unable to serve it with avocado that day.There are not many good options in Flemington and 55 Main is not an exception.

Walked into have lunch. Was told that I could not be seated for 10 minutes ( many tables available ). I asked if I could sit and look at the menu and was told that if I wanted to eat and had any time constraints, I should leave and next time, make a reservation. So rude , I left.
