picked up a to good to go order today at lunch time. these orders you never really know what you will get but I figured I'd try it out. wow I am so glad I did. my food was absolutely delicious, so fresh and flavorful. It was my first time trying the restaurant and wont be my last!

Bistro 55 is a Mediterranean restaurant located downtown. The owner, Mo, is very attentive and kind, personally making sure everything is to guests' liking. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and personable. The atmosphere is beautiful, and sitting outside is a lovely way to enjoy the area. The menu is large but not overwhelming, and everything is great. The food is absolutely delicious and does not cost an arm and a leg. Specific meals mentioned include the spanakopita, which was incredible and full of flavor, and the gyro platter, which was 10/10. The grilled octopus is tender and flavorful, and the grilled lamb chops are the best in America, beyond delicious and melt-in-your-mouth. The Asmack Mashwaya is fresh and flavorful. The spicy seafood pasta is filled with octopus, shrimp, and squid, with big portions of protein. Desserts are amazing. This is a great local spot under new ownership that is definitely worth stopping in.
