Great new little place with fabulous donuts. A few sandwiches also. We had our book club there and they reserved a table for 9 of us.

Their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are unique and all fantastic. Their worst donut is excellent and everything else is above excellent. I recently took my lady to dinner with them for Valentine's day dinner date and it was the perfect evening. Chef Andrew and his crew are absolute gems and the loveliness they bring to any experience at D'Serve heightens the already fantastic dinning experience. Easily one of the best places to eat in Central Jersey, if not all of Jersey, if not all of the east coast!

Recently had dinner at this lovely new spot in Flemington. It was one of the best meals I have had in a restaurant in a long time. The food was fresh, and very thoughtfully prepared. Service and atmosphere were great; warm and inviting. Looking forward to trying the new menu coming up soon!

This place is truly a gem! The BEC sandwich is AMAZING—savory with perfectly well-rounded flavors. The staff is warm and friendly, the donuts are fresh, and the guava cheesecake donut is absolutely delicious. It’s a beautifully inspired, modern take on Puerto Rican flavors done in such a fresh and thoughtful way.

We have now been back to D'Serve multiple times since my original review, and I feel obligated to report that the first visit was not a fluke. Not even close.

The food has been excellent every single time. From the elevated NYC bodega style chopped cheese, where the bone marrow addition somehow makes perfect sense, to the trout dip that begins as “I am not sure I am going to like this” and ends as “can I have more,” Andrew, Shannon, and the team continue to hit absolute home runs.

During the November menu service, I had a brief conversation with Andrew and caught a glimpse of a dessert that may eventually become a permanent candy bar style offering. For the sake of my taste buds, I sincerely hope that happens. For the sake of my calorie tracking app, I am deeply concerned.

One of my favorite signs of a great restaurant is when you keep seeing the same diners over and over. We continually run into the same couple during dinner reservations, which feels like the culinary equivalent of a knowing nod. Hi other Dave.

The recent tweak to the bar seating deserves a callout. It now feels more like a chef’s table, with a perfect view of the kitchen in action and an ideal setup for conversation with my wife. This matters more than people think.

We also made it in for Sunday brunch, which was spectacular. Starting brunch with dessert is always the correct decision, and every cookie delivered. I am not usually a jelly donut or jelly cookie person, but the thumbprint cookie with house made mixed berry jam was excellent. The chocolate chip cookies were a refined, elevated version of the childhood classic. The kale Caesar with donut croutons worked far better than it had any right to. All of the braised meats were outstanding.

Now let’s talk about the Puerto Rican poutine. We recently traveled to Quebec, the spiritual homeland of poutine, and tried more versions than any reasonable person should. Hole in the wall spots, polished places, even a Michelin starred take. Andrew and team’s version was better than all of them. Perfectly crisp and fluffy fries, deep rich gravy, beautifully braised meat, and cheese curds done right. I did not expect to have my poutine worldview challenged in New Jersey, but here we are.

The service continues to be fantastic, the food continues to impress, and the Mercados are clearly doing something very right.

The bad. Nothing. I tried. I have no notes.

Please visit. Eat well. Come back again. We definitely will. Hope to see you there.

Chef Andrew's hospitality alongside his team's welcoming aura is what makes dining out special for folks. Great music, festive and cultured cuisine in a cozy space made for a fabulous dinner out last night. Love the concept overall, and can't wait to get back there. Enjoying an exquisite donut as I write this. Really appreciate all they are doing.

A must-stop if you are in Flemington! The doughnuts are amazing, the owners are genuinely the sweetest people, and the space feels so warm and welcoming. I’ve only popped in for doughnuts so far, but they also serve dinner, and I can’t wait to come back and try it.

Fantastic experience from start to finish! Chef Andrew and his team are making some of the most authentic, delicious, creative food in the state. Their hospitality is effortless and warm, the space is beautiful, and the attention to detail in the service is really impressive. I love how they weave storytelling and their own personality into the dining experience, it's so different from the oceans of cookie cutter restaurants out there. Just a very memorable experience, highly recommend!

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at D'Serve for dinner last week. Each course was exceptional and we met the Chef who was very friendly and attentive to our wishes. I highly recommend D'Serve. It is a welcome addition to Flemington's Main Street!! :-)
