We did a catering order for a get together. The food was fantastic. Everything was customized for us just as we asked. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Can't recommend them highly enough. Great place.
Good was good
To start off bagels were great…so nice and warm and fluffy on the inside and that pork roll is a proper Jersey pork roll. Then we get to the service and vibes of the place. It’s a nice cozy local shop where all the employees are just smiling. It’s sort of nice…I recommend trying if ur close by.

Mel’s Bagel & Deli is a fantastic local spot with super friendly staff and great food. The service is super friendly and kind, with a smile. Bagels are tasty, decently priced, and come with a good bit of cream cheese. They are made in-house and come out hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious — perfectly toasted, soft and chewy inside with a nice crisp outside, reminding some of NYC bagels from decades ago. The Belly Buster is a standout, described as better than Mama’s home cooking. The place is clean and welcoming with seating, including two tables for two and three tables for four. They have a full coffee bar with delicious coffee and a drink cooler with a big selection, plus chips and extras. Lunch options are available, and the homemade soup is said to be the best in the area. It can be busy like most good bagel joints, but they keep things moving. A solid 4-star spot that customers will definitely come back to again and again.
