I always order with extra scoops and extra syrup and this time my drink tastes like milk and there is no syrup at all. Seems that in the afternoon they know how to make drinks...not the morning crew. They seem like they hate their jobs and everyone around them. Just rushing you through service to get you out of there, without compassion. I have worked in customer service for 8 years now. I've been an employee before. I have to stop in the morning for my daily dose of caffeine... I'm going to stop coming here altogether because even though it's convenient location wise I just hate that I've customized a drink that is never made the proper way. Not sure if they got the proper training or if they are actually reading people's customizations. I'm going to Starbucks in Readington they're amazing and they know what they're doing. Great customer service in Readington on rte 22. Go there instead. I really appreciate going to a place where they know how to take care of their customers. It's not convenient on 31 if I have to go back and fix a drink.

I'm giving two stars because at least the morning crew is decent, but definitely don't come afternoon, you will be waiting in the drive thru for 20 minutes, only to get the one drink you ordered messed up. And they don't even acknowledge that you've been waiting for 20 minutes, let alone say sorry.
The other day was the worst, only one car in front of me, but the employee talked to the customer for 5 minutes straight, not caring whatsoever about me, only to hand me a watered down cold brew with WAY to much cream
They also give you the wrong change back and will fight with you over it, so just make sure you know how much you're paying and getting back, they've "stolen" more than 20 bucks from me over multiple visits and never once got my change back correctly after brining it up
And the other Starbucks south a Flemington is worse so just be prepared to wait awhile for less than decent coffees.

Having read the other 'bad' reviews, they're spot on and aligned with my experience at this store. The culture of Starbucks in general has gone downhill but especially this location. Gone are the days of baristas, "partners", liking their jobs, coming to work happy..demonstrating it among each other and to the customers. Most of the staff here barely smile nor genuinely welcome you in with the mechanical "welcome in" that they're supposed to say upon opening the door. Starbucks really used to be a unique environment where you'd hang out and enjoy the energy. No more. And as long as Maria is the manager of this location, which another person acknowledged, it'll never get there. The ones with upbeat friendly dispositions always leave. If this doesn't matter to you and your mobile order is enough or running through the drive through for the objective of your drink, have at it. Otherwise, this isn't the place for you.

Take a look at this sign and read it closely, word for word. There truly must be some sort of ulterior motive at play because, based on the actions of this company and the higher ups who further out themselves and their rapacity while working for them, highly and completely contradictory to what they supposedly stand for. We all know and haven't forgotten about the previous bathroom incident... Seems like the exact same falls into play with those who suffer from mental illness as well, let alone their ethnicity as Cherokee American Indian.

I come to this location every week to write. The staff is courteous and friendly. I love that they know my order. It makes me feel like family.The bathrooms are spotless! Anyone who knows about the food industry, knows bathrooms are the indicator to a clean establishment. The whole store is clean!

My coffee was the worst I’ve ever had. Visited a few days ago with my usual order on the app (unchanged). The cold brew I received was disgusting and I didn’t even finish it. When I order the same coffee from any other Starbucks it’s delicious.

My drink was made wrong but I personally don’t care. It’s 80 cents, what I thought was funny was the barista Brandon forgot to turn his microphone off and after I corrected him multiple times while placing my order at the drive through he said “ugh”. Like as someone who worked at a Starbucks I understand getting frustrated but at least react when people can’t hear you.
Staff is unprofessional, drive through cab be a nightmare, music is so loud you can hear it in you parked car outside the building.

Manager Maria was extremely rude! I understand everyone was busy and all I did was ask a simple question. She did not have to answer in the matter that she did in front of all the customers. Her customer service was terrible for a manager. If you were frustrated you dont need to take it out on everyone else! Throwing the phone after talking with another employee. Truly unprofessional.
