Was looking for an old time ice cream parlor and had read a review that had this place highly rated. Unfortunately, they seemed to have closed off the dining area and only had takeout service. The ice cream itself was a little crystalline, lacking the nice creamy texture that we look for an ice cream. I tried the cappuccino flavored, which I could only describe as unusual. Very friendly service.

I gave it 2 stars because the server was friendly. Otherwise, not happy. I ordered a brownie sundae and the scoops were so tiny that I barely tasted much ice cream and the whip cream was a line not a nice pile. Not worth $7.50. I’d go back if the scoops were larger. Otherwise probably not returning. What I did taste was good just very skimpy.
Great ice cream. The Oreo ice cream with hot fudge was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Definitely check this place out. They have great flavors, and the quality is outstanding. If you want something close to an old school ice cream place this is it! Only take out or a few benches outside, but not a big deal.
