I moved from Portland, OR where people are very spoiled about food and I can say this is the best sushi I ever had since I move to Nj. I have tried many places, but all I can say is this restaurant is excellent. I love the environment and the great service. This is my third time here and I am pretty sure I will back everytime I want to eat a very good sushi.

The atmosphere is great for a special night out. The quality of the sushi was very fresh and delightful. My friend and I tried out their new Omakase menu and was pleasantly surprised! Would definitely recommend for a date night. :-)

If you were a bird or mouse, then this is the best place for you. Other than that, you have better eat something before or after this place. Atmosphere is good classic modern Korean and food quality is great. But quantity is for either the people on diet, or ones already full. Because I'm not a big eater, but still quite hungry after a 3 course combo. At least there are other more plentiful restaurant around to hit up a round 2 or 3. Also plus is pocha or cafe next door. Definitely a good date place also.

Came in for lunch on 6/27. Very clean environment which makes it a pleasant stay while dining. Lunch special was amazing - Very fresh fish as well as vegetables. I am very glad that this place opened near my place.

One question I asked myself when I entered into this newly opened sushi restaurant is: why I didn't find this place earlier?! How dare I?! All the dishes taste great (according to my families) and you can tell the sashimi is very fresh, which means everything! Nice dining environment. The owner has a good taste! Definitely have to go!

D'avant really did a great job with this store. I was surprised when I heard they opened a sushi place. But the service is great and they always give us “service†(free appetizers), a Korean way of showing appreciation to their customers. Sushi quality is on the higher end, but still affordable. Highly rec!

Very cute new sushi spot in Fort Lee. BYOB with a liquor store right next door. Tons of parking in lot. They give you a pot of green tea and mussels for free to start. The food is fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

Ordered the ultimate sushi combo, and it was so much delicious food for 3 people. Got a free mussel appetizer as well and it was very good. Everything was very fresh and clean. Will definitely be back for sushi if I'm in the area!

SATISFIED; I had bluefin tuna, salmon, and others and both the quality and price were at my expectation. The only DOWNSIDE was that the wall between the chef and the chef's table was too high that I could not communicate with the chef at all. P.S. Was impressed with their DYSON hands dryer in the restroom lol

Honestly, even though I am a Korean, I used to have Japanese styled meal and I really liked their style. Their sushi was so fresh and absolutely yummy. I would like to highlight their quality and acceptable price of lunch special and even their ambience. So modern and clean. Moreover, anyone who visited D'avant café is able to get 15% off coupon. Get some coffee and then try their high quality sushi.
