Self service!
Love it!
Love it!
This place is self service and your food comes out quick.
The portion is HUGE and the price is averaged priced! I couldnt finish my food. I got regular spicy for my dish and you can actually taste a little spice unlike other restaurants.
Will be back!

The food was a hit or miss. Beef stir fried noodle was extremely greasy with no flavor to speak of. The rib jjampon was salty; the rib had hardly any meat and barely no seafood. The abalone noodle, chicken kal kooksoo and LA galbi was good. The service was great and the place was very clean. I really liked that they have carts since I’m always nervous about the self service places with just trays when the menu involves piping hot soups.
KOOKSOO is a welcoming restaurant that offers a unique self-service experience, making it efficient and convenient. The staff is friendly and attentive, providing excellent customer service. The menu features a variety of dishes, including the signature beef kooksoo, galbi jjim, king rib jjampong, and jangkalguksu. The noodles are cooked to perfection, with a chewy texture and flavorful broth. The broth is rich and delicious, and the spice levels cater to different preferences, including a "regular spicy" option. The restaurant has a small and cute design, which helps diners focus on their company and the food. The price to portion ratio is very good and fair, making KOOKSOO a great spot to grab a delicious meal with friends or family. Overall, KOOKSOO offers a great value for the price and is highly recommended for its flavorful dishes.
