As soon as you walk into Gayeon, you're welcomed with an open air, modern feel with a large bar and open kitchen. The restaurant is not smokey like your typical Korean bbq restaurant might be. All of the food we had was excellent. For the appetizer, the Chicken Gangjung was large enough to share with 4 people and had a delicious sweet and sour sauce. Do you wish to win over some in-laws who are Asian? Alright, bring them here and declare the mission successful. Well, I did enjoy the tastiest Korean seafood pancake ever here, so that's not too awful. However, considering how many less expensive Korean restaurants are nearby—just a fifteen-minute drive away—perhaps this would be a nice spot to take your significant other on an annual anniversary?
