Gong cha is one of my favorite bubble tea stores. It is super clean and the service is exceptional. I would definitely recommend this store!

Update: Did you just blame other people for taking the wrong order? Are you kidding? And don't lie. I'm submitting this complaint because there was your attitude instead of an apology. How about an innocent apology?Today after lunch I ordered a Peach Slush with Milk Foam at the Fort Lee location. Upon checking my order, I realized that I had received a drink that I did not order. When I inquired about this to the cashier, I was met with resistance and with attitude. The cashier proceeded to tell me that she did not charge for the missing item and that I would be upcharged for correcting my order. I was shocked and speechless to say the least. How am I getting charged for something I ordered? How was the attitude I was met with when the mistake was clearly made by your employees? Certainly, a world renowned and international company such as GongCha does not treat its paying customers in such a manner. I demand an investigation into this location and also demand a report of what customer service trainings and continued trainings are given to your employees. I also demand an apology from your Fort Lee location as this was grossly and egregiously outside of GongCha's company policies. I ordered what I wanted and received a completely different drink, and I need to pay extra to receive what I ordered?? Please make this situation make sense.

Gong Cha is the best bubble tea spot. The tea is always good, you can choose your sugar levels and their tapioca pearl consistency and quality is really good compared to other places. They also have so many menu items to choose from and have new drinks often.

Usually this place is solid so two stars. However my experience today on Memorial Day probably deserved zero stars. I walked in there are three workers just talking and not even asking for my order. Finally one decided to come to the register and take my order. I asked her what the grapefruit yogurt was like in terms of consistency she simply responds, "it's a drink". I think I know it's a drink. Unhelpful service in regards to the many drinks. Lastly, if the drink was at least good maybe I wouldn't be writing this. I specifically asked for less sugar for both drinks and I think the guy dumped more than half of syrup in there. Also I don't know if this is standard practice but I saw him scooping ice from the sink.... I don't expect it to be ice from filtered water but seeing that was a yuck.

Edit in response to the ludicrous accusation from owner: camera footage? You’re saying we filled the cup more after we left? I’m questioning how but we’d love to see it, please contact me directly. And for those reading these reviews and considering this establishment - don’t, if not for the poor training and quality of ingredients let the customer service speak for itself. “ALL THE OTHER REVIEWERS” have the same issue.. right it’s everyone else that visits that has the problem? We frequent many bubble tea establishments and GCs in our locale and others and this one is not using qualified ingredients.Wow I wish I read these reviews first! We had the same experience as many people below! Drink was ordered at 50% sweetness but it was SO MUCH sweeter. We all took a few sips and agreed so I suggested my partner bring it back in and ask them to remake it. He was refused and was told he had drank too much of it! Including pic for reference.. we rather go to Kung Fu tea a few blocks down. Also the matcha didn’t taste the same as other GC locations.

this is a bubble tea shop. the bubble tea, by default, should already be good to some standard. gong cha has been severely gentrified and is nothing more than just a name brand now. i say this, but i still come here every so often for my fill of boba.i am personally incredibly sensitive to caffeine so i will usually get a caffeine free option, like the wintermelon tea.customer service varies severely. i have generally been met with chill people at the register, but i was met with a super nasty employee the other night that just did noooooot care. given that we came in 5 minutes before closing, i think it was partially deserved, as is this review. i also work in food service and nobody cares, so just quit? you signed up to work at a bubble tea store on a weekend night bro ?
