“This restaurant was excellent! It’s similar to Chipotle in the sense that you can build your own bowl, but with Indian dishes instead.

I ordered the mixed greens with chicken tikka masala and basmati rice, and everything was incredibly flavorful and fresh. The service was quick and efficient, and the food came out hot and delicious. I also tried the samosas, which were amazing.

Overall, everything tasted fresh and well-made. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place!“

“We are visiting from Florida and wanted to try something different. This cute spot is so cute and so clean. The atmosphere is inviting and a positive vibe. We got two platters of chicken and lamb. After travelling all day, this dish hit the spot. It has a good blend of seasonings. The lamb was so tender and the combination with a little salad mixed on the side was a great combination. We were even greeted by Sam. He is one of the owners. He made sure we had a great experience!!!! We come to The Bronx yearly and this is a definite must visit for us!“

“Perfect start to the day! We stayed here 4 or 5 times during our week in NY for breakfast. We tested porridge, acai bowls and smoothies. The "Hell's Kitchen Sink" tastes awesome (with peanut butter and cocoa nips.) The smoothies Boo Berry, Gymbuddy and Energy Boost are each made with almond or coconut milk and protein powder .We loved everything! The service is very friendly and There are only a few seats, so we were there early (about 8 / 9h) and had no problems getting a small table.Now we are back home and miss the delicious bowls!“

Reading the founders story and appreciating the immersive design of the location you can almost feel like you escaped from 2nd avenue off to a warm sunny beach elsewhere. Enjoy surfing the flavors of your bowl, there is no need for sunscreen and you won't need to clean up any sand before you get back home. There is an additional seating space to and a restroom inside. The servings are bigger than your average Asai bowl (may be enough for 2) but the prices are also relatively high.“

The employees were friendly, attentive, and personable. I do not remember the name of the person who take my order but he was great. He even took the time to bring me my smoothie. He went above and beyond. I highly recommend this location and playa bowl in general. Haven’t been disappointed in any of there smoothies or bowls.“

“Always walk by and finally decided to try. They have a variety of bowls and bases. Outdoor seating and beachy indoor vibes.

I got the coco craze bowl. Coconut base, flax seed granola, coconut flakes, mango, banana, and pineapple. Regular size bowl. I downloaded the app and got 15% off as a first time order, so paid just over $15 with tax and a convenience fee of 50 cents.

Overall it was a great bowl, large enough that it lasted most of my work day. Only con is the coconut base melted pretty fast after I picked it up from the store, so it quickly became a juice with fruits.

“Lodi is the location I actually go to when running errands, and need a quick bite. It’s the one that feels the most familiar to me. I usually stick to my classics — the chicken caesar wrap, pasta, or turkey burger and sweet potato fries are a must.— and this spot makes them the way I like them: warm, seasoned well, and consistent.

What I appreciate about this location is how easy everything is. The parking lot is right there, so getting in with the baby or grabbing food quick isn’t a hassle. And the staff is always cool and welcoming, which makes the stop feel smooth.

Even on days when they’re a little busy, they still keep things moving. You might wait a few minutes, but they’re efficient and you’re not standing around forever. Overall, it’s a reliable go-to when I want something simple and good without a long wait.“

“It was interesting to try the food, I’m not so sure about anything other than the açaí bowls. I tried a banana bowl but didnt find it great. Which is unfortunate cuz I love banana. However it wouldn’t be a problem if the price wasn’t a bit too much for the quantity I received. Honestly pretty good tho.

Only question I have is that it says open access to 2nd floor. Is that’s something i have to ask the employees to open for me? Cuz if I can enjoy my playa bowl with a view? That might change my tune right quick.“

“Love Playa Bowls—best açaí bowls hands down!!! They’re hearty and you get a nice size bowl/amount for the price. The options are insane!

My favorite is the power -açaí bowl w/ peanut butter (shown in the picture). My kids love the mucho mango (also in the picture) and the Stupid Cupid (not pictured).

This particular location is a nice size. They have a few tables inside as well as a seating area. There is usually seating outside as well but the entire sidewalk block is under construction at the moment.

I’ve never experienced bad customer service. I’ve dined in, ordered online for pickup, AND I’ve had it delivered before. Always a 10/10!“

I was able to give my daughter many options to choose from. She got the Greek Mediterranean Quinoa and added Falafo for $4.20 extra charge.
