Came for lunch on Saturday and only waited about 10 minutes. We had a great time. We enjoyed all sushi from the conveyor belt and ramen. We didn't love red bean fish ice cream. Robots delivering water and conveyor belt set up made it fun. Will definitely return.

Finding a Japanese restaurant that truly impresses in the U.S. is always a pleasant surprise, and Kura Revolving Sushi in Fort Lee is absolutely worth trying. As part of a global chain, Kura offers a menu that’s both extensive and exciting, but what really sets this location apart is the quality and freshness of the ingredients—a step above what I’ve experienced elsewhere.
The menu is diverse, but one must-try item is the Toro sushi, priced at just $3.95 per piece. It’s not only delicious but also offers great value for the quality. Another standout is the uni (sea urchin), which is rich, sweet, and brimming with the taste of the ocean—one bite and you’ll understand why it’s a fan favorite.
While prices are a bit higher than some other spots, compared to many Japanese restaurants in the U.S., Kura’s value is exceptional. The variety of dishes combined with the freshness makes the experience even more enjoyable, especially with the fun and interactive revolving sushi format. It’s a great spot to visit with friends or family for a casual and satisfying meal.

Clean restaurant and kind staff! Food is pretty good too, and their system is very authentic to Japan. They are really family-friendly and helpful explaining the system. (Thanks Alyssa and staff!) The only hiccup I had (user error) was finding the limited menu screen. (Tip: From the first food menu screen, hit PREV. It’s hidden bc of the new Prize Capsule screen.)) Even then, both a waiter AND a cook behind the counter came to help. 🫶🏼🍣 I’ve been to a few Kuras through the years and this one remains my fav.
