MD maemil kongguksu was very good. MD kalguksu was not bad (soup and noodles were good but didn’t really like the ground beef in it). We also got the spicy stir fried pork and bibimbap but I would pass on these. They are known for their noodle dishes. Also pretty pricy overall. Appetizer haemul pajeon (scallion seafood pancake) was good
The kalguksu lacked the thick, rich flavor I’d expect so it felt a bit less authentic. And we weren’t a fan of bean noodles as well. The beef stew was tasty but the portion was small for the price. It’s a decent spot if you’re craving kalguksu though I’m still not completely sold on the taste
I had such an excellent dining experience here. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, attentive, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed.
The food was outstanding. Every dish tasted fresh, carefully prepared, and beautifully presented.
I highly recommend this spot for anyone who loves Korean food—or is curious to try it for the first time.
