Stumbled upon this late-night spot while driving. Felt like a speakeasy when we came into the location. Food was goood, but it appeared to be sitting cold. We had a shrimp tempura roll with crab along with a chicken teriyaki. The service was good but they were forgetful. We asked for lemons and it took about 30 mins to get it. We asked for napkins after my miso was spilled by thr server and he never came back with napkins.
Great atmosphere! Good spot for a late night meal. I don’t recommend the chicken teriyaki as it is mediocre. I did see the adjacent table order wings and I regret not getting an order. The only thing I would critic about the restaurant itself is the temperature, it was freezing.
I come here three times a week — the steamed clams, avocado hand roll, and grilled black cod are my absolute favorites. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the staff are incredibly caring. Highly recommend, 100%!
