When i first entered The Gyro Project, i had just recently got back from cali and i came with a friend, we got the classic greek wrap and the coquettes, The wrap was not only flavorful, but the chicken was very juicy and delectable! We got greeted by this lovely lady that was not only patient, but super helpful! The atmosphere here is so calm and sociable, it gives such a pleasant feeling when eating in the restaurant. Atmosphere and cleanliness is a very important aspect to me, so seeing the fact that, the employees were determined to always keeping the space clean assured me that i know they take care of their customers and want to make their experience as memorable as mine was! i definitely recommend this restaurant if your looking to try something new, but delicious! Such a good vibe to the place! Also don’t get me started on the bakery omggg! such good cookies! And they’re all made in house! Just a delicious restaurant u cannot miss out on :))

I stopped by this gyro place on a Wednesday evening and wow! hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. The food was insanely fresh and bursting with flavor. Honestly, every bite was amazing and probably one of the best things I’ve ever eaten, no exaggeration.
The service was just as impressive. The staff was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. They made the whole experience even better.
If you’re looking for something delicious, fresh, and served with top-tier hospitality, this place is it. I’m already planning my next visit. Highly, highly recommend!

The Gyro Project is truly… such a gem. The food is so fresh and tasty, and their gyros are honestly some of the best I’ve had. The pita is soft, the veggies are crunchy, and everything just feels balanced and made with care.
The people there are really kind too, which makes it even better. Michelle and Iria are the sweetest! This is the kind of place that feels easy and welcoming, like somewhere you’d want to go back to again and again.
If you ever get the chance, you should DEFINITELY try it.

Food was decent, gyro was pricey, staff was friendly. Spent 50 bucks for 2. The owner was talking smack in Greek about my ripped jeans, I guess he didn't realize I was Greek. I'll never go back malaka!!!!

Service is what separates food from an experience. Every time I come here, the staff is incredibly helpful, patient, and kind. Stephanie is a pleasure, and she did a great job making me feel welcome and cared for here.
If their chicken souvlaki was less overcooked, this place would be perfect. Otherwise, flavors are great, seasoning is on point, and portions are acceptable.

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at the Gyro Project in Fort Lee, NJ, and it was a delightful experience. Having moved to New Jersey years ago, I’ve struggled to find gyros that compare to those from my hometown. When a childhood friend visited, we decided to give this place a shot.
Nestled among a variety of eateries, the Gyro Project stood out with its bright, colorful decor and ample parking. The ambiance felt reminiscent of a traditional Grecian courtyard, making it quite inviting. Despite walking in on the tail end of a busy evening, the staff managed to maintain a well-organized atmosphere. I appreciated the selection of Greek products available for purchase, adding to the authenticity.
The girl at the counter was incredibly sweet as I placed my order. I opted for the classic gyro (sans fries), lentil soup, and chicken skewers, while my friend chose a gyro bowl with lemon herb potatoes. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. We couldn’t resist trying the mini spanakopita, which was a fantastic choice.
There was a slight hiccup when they forgot to bring my friend’s dinner out, but the staff handled it graciously. They remade my gyro to ensure it was warm and even offered us dessert on the house. Their attentive service truly made a difference.
Overall, my first visit to the Gyro Project was enjoyable, and we all agreed it’s worth a return trip. While it may not fully match the expectations set by the two gyro spots I grew up with, it certainly comes close.
