I was initially so impressed with this place that I used to bring my family here. But the recent visit (and most likely the last one) was a complete disappointment. The price has gone up considerably. It was quite hot inside that it’s uncomfortable to eat, which was especially unfortunate since we had come specifically to enjoy a comfortable meal, avoiding the heat outside. The food was way too salty. I found a hair in one side dish (although I didn’t point it out). To make matters worse, the receipt showed higher prices than those listed on the menu. We were told that, due to an additional fee, basically the menu prices only apply when paying cash. She said it so casually, AS IF that was the norm, AS IF there should be nothing surprising or unusual in being asked to pay more than what the menu actually shows. It’s funny how this much can go wrong in a single visit.

Place was not too crowded for a weekday lunch. Prices are reasonable for the portions. Service is okay. Overall, a good meal.

Galbitang - very tender bite-sized slivers of beef with bone removed. Well-seasoned. Has glass noodles, radish and egg. Great dish.

Soondubu - very flavorful.

Banchan - extensive, with whole sliced cabbage for kimchi, some delicious thinly sliced pickled white radish, spicy bean sprouts, broccoli and pickled cucumber.

My husband and I dined here years ago when we didn’t want to wait for a nearby spot that had a long line. We remembered the food being so delish, and the ladies who worked there were so kind and attentive.

We recently rediscovered them again, but we mostly do takeout now because we have a baby. The food is still just as wonderful and they even pack the side dishes. For reference, we usually get the japchae, spicy squid, galbi with rice, and the rice cake soup since they’re easy to eat quick nowadays. We tried their BBQ that first time and haven’t had a chance to retry but have no doubt still as good. The workers who pack our food are still as kind and attentive. Love this place!

I can't go here because of the staff's attitude.
Seriously, out of all the restaurants in New Jersey, the staff attitude is #1 every time I come here.
Respect is basic and I'm tired of people asking me various questions.
What are you so curious about? Please just grill the meat and leave.
He even intervened during our conversation.
And I ordered a large bowl of cold noodles, but they accidentally gave me a small one, so I told them I had ordered a large one.
“You eat a lot...”
I'm going crazy. Don't work. ㅡㅡ
Anyway, regardless of whether the food is delicious or not, you should skip out on places where staff are not trained.
You have a knack for ruining the mood of people who just ate.

Space is smaller and cute. Grills at the table. Jogi Guyi ( broiled Croaker)were good size, 2 per order , soft and flavorful. Seafood Pajun was the best I have ever had! Fried just right just the right amount of seafood and batter. Jaeyuk Bokum ( pan fried spicy pork and onions) was flavorful but the meat was too mushy for me.

Their food is extremely below par—the brisket had the texture of chewing into soggy paper towels.
