Back again at The Charlesworth, a true foodie experience. Everything is home made & the Owner/Host Syboll is absolutely wonderful. He has the tables decorated for the season, the staff is top notch & the waterfront view is to die for. I highly recommend that you pay him a visit, it's worth the trip.

1st time eating at this restaurant and let me tell you it did not disappoint one bit. We were greated by Sybol and he was friendly and gracious. The people working there were on top of their game. And as far as the food everything my wife and I had was delicious, from the appetizers to desert. We got to see a beautiful sunset to top it all off. I do not have a bad thing to say about this establishment and highly recommend.

Last night my family had dinner at the Charlesworth Inn in Forescue. For most it was their first time and after dinner it will not be their last. Syboll and his entire staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Our food was delicious, we had great laughs and our bond as a family grew stronger. It’s true when you enter the Charlesworth you are friends but when you leave you are family. Thanks Syboll you are truly the kindest person and a great host.

More than that the owner and staff make you feel like family. I’ve never been to a fine dining restaurant where I also felt at home. Highly recommend !

recently had the pleasure of dining with Syboll at the Charlesworth Hotel & Restaurant. The crab cakes were the best I've ever tasted, with a rich, creamy filling and a crispy exterior. The attentive service and elegant ambiance made for a truly unforgettable evening.

This was our first time eating at this amazing restaurant and it was an amazing experience! We were greeted by Syboll who graciously found a table for us in an otherwise fully booked restaurant which was the start of a wonderful evening. The food was delicious, the wait staff was attentive and courteous, but not to detract from all of the above mentioned, the view and overall ambience of this wonderful restaurant is something you must experience! Although it was extremely busy there was a very relaxed vibe. It is well worth the drive to get the chance to experience this wonderful restaurant!

My family has been raving about this place for over a year and I finally got to experience the delicious food, amazing sunset and the perfect host and hospitality! Thank you Syboll for a fabulous birthday celebration for Aunt Charlotte! You have no idea how special you made her feel! If you’ve never been, it’s definitely well worth the trip!! We missed you Morgan Sellars and Val Arminio - sorry you both couldn’t be there.

I was not able to make Google provide me a restaurant review window instead of this hotel review window.
I've spent a week deciding whether to write this review of our dinner at CH&R a week ago. Another couple invited us to join them for dinner, choose this restaurant (which they had visited before that evening) and made a 6pm reservation for Thursday evening. We live more than an hour away, but got there right before 6pm and found no where to park in their lot. I dropped my wife off close to the walkway and parked down the street.
To be fair to the establishment -- everyone else must have had an earlier in the evening reservation, seemed to be well-known by the front-of-the-house person and seemed to be getting good service and enjoying their time there.
There was a table available to us. Our friends arrived late. The two of us were provided menus upon my wife's arrival, but I had to beg someone's server to bring me a glass of water at 623pm! At this restaurant price-point, I was shocked to have a wait-staff person assigned to us who did not have a clue what serving restaurant guests is about. I have been eating in restaurants since the 1950s and our server experience that evening was clearly a bottom 1 percentile event. Actually, I would be shocked at any restaurant price-point to be ignored this badly during dinner.
The four of us waited so long for our server to arrive at the table after bringing water to our friends, we all elected not to bother ordering appetizers.
I had the pork chop entree (which was tasty), but was stuck with having French Fries as a side because they were out of baked potatoes (claiming their shipment was a bad one - so go out and buy good ones for serving to your clients)?! I do not think the other three folks at my table enjoyed their meals.
We all had coffee after dinner and the other three had desserts. I thought it was very odd that the two having pie were stuck eating it with a golden spoon instead of a fork (since our server disappeared long enough for them to finally just eat it with a spoon). Oh, and they didn't have any type of non dairy milk to go with my coffee.
The location is obviously unique and that evening was quite a pleasant one for standing on the deck for a few minutes after dinner.
