“We're long time patrons, My family orders from Franklin Lakes Pizza once or twice a week, I often advocate for the restaurant with friends and family. The sandwiches, pizza, entrees and salads are delicious. For those rare downer dishes, it's usually fried food related. More specifically, the calamari is overcooked, calamari can be tricky and I would not be writing a review if the calamari had some degree of chewiness, even upscale establishments struggle with same. At the very least, the calamari should not be tough/dry, It takes minutes/seconds to cook, it's an easy fix. Today, we had an issue with the fried onion rings, looked very burnt, yet soggy. These are not expensive dishes, am not losing any sleep over it, Mistakes happen all the time, I don't want to offend anyone by double checking everything before I pay for it. “Who knew there could be so many ways to spice up a meatball sub! When I first moved to the area, a local recommended this place. I was intrigued by all the interesting options on the menu and had to try. Although I want to try everything, I love my usual order so much that I haven’t been able to stray. My go to is the Buckwild Balls Sandwich, which I highly recommend. Sometimes the bread is a little burnt, but otherwise cooked to perfection. I will continue going back and maybe one day I’ll feel adventurous enough to stray from my usual!“

We were there for our Daughters birthday party today, and she and her friends loved the pizza, spaghetti & meatballs, & the pasta pomodoro and had a great time. The staff were incredibly helpful and nice, they held our birthday cake overnight for us and allowed us to decorate the table an hour before hand while the kids were at the escape room in the next shopping center. “Very friendly and attentive staff! This was a great experience. Bread came out with a plate of delicious mozzarella and tomato in olive oil (complimentary). I had shrimp parm that was very tasty. Loved the sauce. I ordered it with the roasted potatoes, and although I thought they were a bit lacking in flavor (need some spice or something), I was so happy that I had a choice of pasta, salad, or potato. My husband had the chicken sorrentino and really liked that too. He ordered it with a salad and that also was good. We ordered two desserts. Cannoli was good, but I've had better. My husband really enjoyed the banana pudding. Then they gave us zeppoles on the house, which we had to take home as we were already stuffed with good food. Highly recommend this place!“

Being vegan, I called Prime Pizza to ask if their tomato sauce had cheese and was assured it was vegan. I mentioned pasta primavera, which is not on their menu, and was told to please come in, they would create something for us. Our big bowl of pasta had very generous portions of fresh broccoli, mushrooms and carrots. The sauce was flavorful and delicious and the veggies were perfect. It was just what we had hoped to find. Owners/employees---the staff--couldn't have been kinder. Highly recommended!! “It's very disappointing to see that already after only a few months of being open to make changes and to start cutting corners with their menu. They changed up their Sub Sandwich rolls from a beautiful seeded semolina roll to some substandard Italian sub roll. The bread makes the sandwich. Any chicken Parm and Meatball Parm should have stayed on that semolina roll. Cheesesteaks should not, they belong on those other Italian rolls. It "was" the best chicken Parm I ever had. Now it's just like every other round of the mill pizza joint that comes and goes...“

“Had a wonderful experience at al di la! We arrived a little before 12 pm and was empty so we got to enjoy the quiet but it got filled up while we were sitting. The atmosphere is calm. There isn't a very bug menu but the food is really good. We had their famous salad pizza and didn't disappoint!
