Unbelievably RUDE owner/host at the front desk. Made us wait 8 minutes for him to finish a phone call, meanwhile nobody else bothered to take our info. He snapped at us and another group of 5 adults because we were near his desk. Only 2 tables were filled at 6:32pm and he said we "need to be out by 8pm". Luckily I had somewhere else to go at 8PM so didn't make a big deal. (FYI other group of 5 stormed out and they were regular customers until tonight). We sat 20 minutes with no menu. Then he took away our menus because he didn't have enough menus for others! Seriously? Buy more menus. Super slow food delivered at 7:50pm!! The filet of sole was good but marinara on chicken parm & pasta was bland, worst ever tasted. It is surprising this business is in Frankin Lakes of all places. My town doesn't put up with horrible service & manners.

We went to Tony Lips with friends for dinner. While they were down some equipment in the kitchen and short on wait staff, we still had an enjoyable experience. The staff even gave us a complimentary shrimp cocktail for our wait on menus. Caesar salad was large and well seasoned. I had the Paparadelle in Bolognese sauce. It was filling and tasted great. My wife ordered the pasta in Aurora sauce. None of us had ever heard of that sauce before. She loved it. We definitely plan on going back as I am dying to taste the braised short-rib ravioli. All in all a very good experience.

We just stumbled upon Tony Lip’s today and I am so glad we did. From the moment we walked in my husband and I felt right at home. The pizza was delicious and the owner was personable and extremely accommodating. Thank you for such a fun experience!!
