We often order food from Bangalore Express - at least once a month. We have even catered from them a couple of times. It’s a simple no frills place with delicious food and reasonable price. I see a review here that complained about the credit card fee and 18% gratuity but the ungrateful customer doesn’t talk about the delicious food !! Even the IRS and gas stations charge credit card fees ! Merchants pay heavy fee towards credit card processing so why shouldn’t they be reimbursed? At least he gives you the food at a fair price!! If you could pay cash, you could save the fee. And learn to appreciate the service and learn to pay gratuity for good service.

This was our first time here. Owner is charging 18% forced gratuity plus credit card charges. Such tip amounts only make sense for large parties or high end restaurants. For a below avg restaurant, forcing 18% gratuity is a rip off. Will advise avoiding this place. It’s a prime example of short term thinking and loosing customers permanently.

We recently dined at Bangalore Express Indian Restaurant and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating, ensuring we felt welcomed throughout our meal. We ordered the chole bhature, which was delicious, and the jackfruit biryani, which was equally tasty.For our kids, they provided multiple options and even offered a non-spicy version of aloo puri, which our children enjoyed. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience with great food and excellent service. We highly recommend trying out Bangalore Express for an authentic Indian cuisine experience.

We as a family had been visiting this place last 5 years. Never disappointed. Service is quick and food tastes great. Onion rava masala dosa at this restaurant is served the best across NJ. One of the latest new entrants to the menu Kathal(jackfruit) biriyani has been the go to dish for my family nowadays .
