We’ve been here multiple times, but this last visit on 8/30 845pm was a joke. My 9-year-old nephew, visiting from London 🇬🇧, was denied entry because he wore track pants. Really? A child turned away over clothing? The so-called “fine dining” vibe is laughable when you’ve got a 70-year-old man eyeballing every guest like we’re trying to sneak in for a free meal. Our group of six was embarrassed and humiliated — even the women were checked out inappropriately. If you insist on policing attire, at least have female staff handle women instead of subjecting them to this nonsense.
And let’s be real — the place doesn’t even come close to fine dining standards. The bathrooms are filthy, the floors in the dining area are disgusting with food spills everywhere, and the whole place feels unhygienic. Instead of obsessing over whether a kid’s pants meet some made-up dress code, maybe the manager should focus on cleaning the bathrooms and floors. Enforce hygiene first, then worry about fashion.

We drove 40 miles and arrived as a party of 11 for a special occasion, prepared to spend over $2,000 on what we thought would be a memorable evening. Instead, we were met with arrogance and zero hospitality because one child in our group wore jogger pants.

Fine dining is not just about food; it’s about service, discretion, and respect for guests. We’ve dined at world-class restaurants in NYC where policies exist but are handled with grace and professionalism. Here, the staff chose humiliation over hospitality and asked us to leave rather than finding any reasonable solution.

They didn’t just lose our business that night — they made it clear they value rigid rules over basic decency. If you want a restaurant that understands what true service means, look elsewhere.

Kiran was extremely communicative, took great care of our specifications. Overall food was great , Murgh Tikka (must order) and Jhinga tikka were amazing. Murg dum biryani was too good.
Would definitely recommend Samudra for an authentic experience ✨

manjari was the waitress who served us she is very friendly and gave good recommendations to select and she also helped us to ordering the portions and she has a good suggestions i highly recommend this place for good ambience , friendly staff , cleanliness and it’s a overall good place to eat and meet up as a family and for food -idli is a must try in a vegetarian dish ,biriyani is below average , ragi sankanti is disappointment but the natti kodi pulusu which accompanied is very good , panner butter masala is average appetizer was good jinga 369 is good and chicken appetizer was also good .
