Nice bar restaurant at the end of a round. We were there on a Wednesday and it was empty. We order BBQ knowing that it was not going to be fresh as the grills were not going. That said the brisket and pulled port were still good. The sweet potato fries were good as well. Little crispy. We both should have order the bbq souce on the side. Too much on for our taste but we should have asked. Great bar with a large selection of whiskey and bourbon. Service was great too. I would go back. Like to see how it is when it’s fresh.

My wife and I attended a wedding reception at the Black Bear Golf Club this past weekend. The evening was very enjoyable and Black Bear provided everything needed. The wedding ceremony was held outdoors in a comfortable setting. This was followed by a cocktail hour in a bright and airy room overlooking the golf course. There was a good variety of food stations and waitstaff serving hand held offerings. The food was very good. We then entered the main room for dinner. The room overlooked the golf course and a patio area with seating and a fire pit. The dinner include a delicious pasta dish, salad, a choice of filet mignon, baked chicken, shrimp scampi and a vegetarian option. Dessert was assorted pastries, cookies

I would give it a 0 if it was an option. I’m starting by saying worst service ever for Mother’s Day brunch 2019. I would not recommend or ever go back. Not worth the price. Our reservations was for 1:30 we arrived at 1:15 there was no welcoming or host in site finally we found one around 1:45 and not seated until 2:15 They were under staff we waited for the waitress for another ten minutes who looked stressed and unhappy not even a hello took our drink order that came 20 minutes after we were done with our lunch not even water was served and when we did get our drinks the coffee was ice cold the desserts were super market bought served on the plastic it came in. We spoke to the hostess regarding their service she agreed it was bad but nothing changed. The food was ok chicken parm was very dry nothing out of this world. They ran out of plates another ten minute wait for plates. Very disorganized comes down to poor management.
