One Quart Grape Nuts “Hard” Ice Cream

We purchased this ice cream at a local ice cream shop across town. As I was carrying the ice cream tub to the car and noticed the tub wasn’t rock hard, I sensed there was going to be an issue.
After letting it sit in the freezer for about one hour, we decided to belly up and start scooping.
The ice cream was packed with grape nuts and that was the best feature. The ice cream itself tasted great; it would have been a better experience if the ice cream was actually rock solid.
This was supposed to be hard ice cream; the texture was borderline soft serve. If I wanted soft serve, I would have ordered soft serve.
I basically had to finish it quickly because it was already melting. It’s not enjoyable when you have to race against time to finish your dessert before it turns into a puddle.
It was a great flavor, but this is regretfully not my preferred ice cream parlor.
The Ice cream was very tasty.., Especially the cherry vanilla flavor. The place was a bit crowded as it was a hot day. Had to wait for almost 20 mins to get the ice cream.

Stopped by with my cousins . Excellent Pistachio in a cup . Staff was friendly and inviting. Plenty of outdoor front seating .
Soft ice cream was 👍. A bit pricey, but what isn't? It took longer than anticipated to order.
